Snack Powered Mage

When the sleepy little city of Warren Ohio starts teetering on the edge of chaos, Zoe is chosen to be a hero. There’s just one problem: she’s chubby, lazy, and way more invested in leveling up her Horizon Panther than saving the world. Monsters? Pass. But when a nagging system won’t stop harassing her and a looming Shard starts messing with her snack time, Zoe is forced to deal with her so-called "destiny." Begrudgingly. As long as it doesn’t interfere with her next raid. Cover by MK_Wizard Find her on ko-fi mkwizard

29 Clothes Fit the Mage

Zoe was halfway up the hill at Packard Park when she realized something strange: she wasn't winded.

She stopped, blinking in confusion, and looked down at herself.

Her eyes widened as she realized something else: she had lost a lot of weight.

A hundred pounds, maybe more.

She had gone from 270 to somewhere around 170 while in the shard, and she hadn't even noticed.

With a mix of curiosity and disbelief, Zoe squeezed her now much smaller tummy.

She hadn't noticed how much weight was gone until now, just looking at herself felt surreal.

She hiked up her robe, revealing her legs, and gave them an appraising look.

They were thinner, toned even. Ridiculous.

She wasn't done yet.

She pulled her robe away from her chest, craning her neck to peer down it.

"What the..." she muttered, bewildered.

Gavin, who had opted to walk alongside her, paused and turned to watch her strange display.
