My eyes fluttered open as I felt a warm damp cloth pressed against my neck. I tried to sit up, but my eyes shut again as I winced, the throbbing in my head sending my head back to the comfort of the pillow.

/"You controlled yourself well back there, sent him flying with his tail between his legs./"

My eyes widened at the unfamiliar voice, grabbing the hand near my neck, I pushed it onto the mattress and used my other hand to push against their shoulder, flipping them so whoever it was landed on their back on the bed while I sat on top, a hand on their neck ready to crush it if the need came for it.

/"Easy, Sapphire./"

The girl below looked about my age. She had fair skin, thick dark eyebrows and light brown eyes that were round in the middle before tapering off at the sides like a cat.
