Chapter 4

Kiefer and Jacob stopped in front of a two-story modern house with lamps by the gates. Jacob took a key from his pocket and slipped his arm into the gate with vertical lines. After opening the gate, he pushed it slightly and the two of them entered together.

"Wanna sleep over tonight?" Jacob asked as they walked to the front door. "Should I?" Kiefer smiled as he shrugged a little. "Well, you haven't slept here for a while. My mom was also wondering what you were up to," the omega said as he opened the door.

Upon opening the door, the first person they saw was Jacob's mother who was walking towards the front door.

"Hello, boys! I heard the gate opening and thought it was you," she greeted them with a smile. "Did you guys already have some snacks outside? I just finished baking brownies since my Jakie hasn't eaten sweets for a week now," she giggled.

Before Kiefer could speak and tell her the truth, Jacob put his hand on his shoulder and held it tightly. "Not yet, Mom. We'll take some in my room since Kiefer here wanted me to tutor him," Jacob smiled at his Mom.

Kiefer gave him a look of disbelief, finding him insane for eating brownies after stuffing his face with sweets just a few minutes ago. Jacob just gave him a quick glance and as if they were communicating through telepathy, the alpha immediately understood that Jacob would throw hands if he stopped him from eating the brownies.

"Oh, sure, sweetie. You guys go to your room and I'll bring them to you," Jacob's mom smiled sweetly and stepped sideways to make way for them.

"Thanks, Mom," Jacob smiled at her. "Thanks, Mommy Chie," Kiefer smiled at her too.

Being together since birth, they both have treated each other's parents as their own, and their parents also thought of them as their sons. Kiefer calls Jacob's parents "mommy" and "daddy", and Jacob also calls Kiefer's parents "mommy" and "daddy".

"Oh, right! Kiefer, dear, I bought new pajamas for you guys. Will you be sleeping over tonight?" Chie said as the boys walked past her. "Yep! Jacob told me to sleep with him," Kiefer smiled widely, his eyes smiling along with his lips.

Looking like a clueless puppy, Kiefer kept smiling as they proceeded to walk up the stairs.

'That sounded so wrong, but since it's Kiefer, it would never be misunderstood by Mom,' Jacob thought as he walked straight up the stairs without even looking back.

"So, Mommy Chie bought new pajamas again, huh?" Kiefer chuckled as he followed behind Jacob. "You probably have around 20 pajamas in this household," Jacon responded and chuckled.

"I'm telling you, I might actually be your brother. Should I just move in?" Kiefer jokingly said as he watched Jacob take the last step of the stairs.

"You literally just live across our house. What are you talking about?" Jacob chuckled as he turned right to head to his room.

"Let's swap houses, then," Kiefer said as he walked faster so he could walk beside Jacob. "We already did that, though?" the omega said as he opened the door to his room.

It was a clean room with little to no decorations. The walls were painted gray, and his furniture and other things were in the colors black, white, and gray.

Before Jacob could even enter, Kiefer ran past him and immediately jumped on his bed.

"I remember finding your old dirty sock behind your drawer. Do you even know how disgusting that was?" Jacob laughed as he watched the alpha jump.

"And I remember finding a slice of moldy bread under your bed. Do you know how disgusting that was?" Kiefer retorted as he smiled and raised a brow at him.

"I wanted to observe the mold grow. I was doing some research," Jacob said, lying to Kiefer so he wouldn't bring it up again. "Okay, Jakie. I'll pretend I didn't hear Mommy Chie scold you for keeping that bread here for too long," Kiefer said as he rolled on the omega's bed.

"You're pretty annoying, did you know that?" Jacob said as he jumped on his toes, preparing his feet so he could sprint to the bed.

"Hey, hey! Are you gonna jump on me?" Kiefer immediately sat up and moved backward. "Take a guess," Jacob smiled.

"Jacob, oh my god! I'm gonna die if you do that!" Kiefer yelled, sounding like he was rapping because of how fast he said those words, as he watched Jacob sprint towards him.

The omega immediately stopped before he could reach the bed and then slowly sat on top.

"Let's study now. You came here to study, right?" the omega chuckled as he looked at Kiefer who looked like his soul was sucked out of his body.

"Hey, you know I would never do something like that to you," Jacob said as he put his legs on top of the bed and crawled toward Kiefer.

"If I ask you if you're really gonna do something, you always say 'take a guess'. How am I supposed to know you weren't gonna try and jump on me?" Kiefer said as he squinted his eyes while looking at Jacob, giving him an untrusting and suspicious look.

"Hey, come on. You know I love you, dude," Jacob said as and chuckled as he ruffled Kiefer's blond hair.

"Yeah. Sure, you do. If you love me, why don't you kiss me then?" Kiefer jokingly said and puckered his lips as he leaned his face closer to Jacob.

'He looks so disgusting when he's like this. I wonder why tons of people go crazy for him,' Jacob thought as he chuckled and moved the alpha's face by pushing his palm against his face.

"Stop being disgusting and just take your book out," Jacob said and shook his head while smiling. He then crawled back to the corner of the bed and sat properly with his feet touching the floor.

"Hmph! Fine, you don't love me anymore!" Kiefer pouted while crossing his arms, acting like he was really upset.

"Kief, I swear to god, if you keep that up, I'm seriously gonna throw you out," Jacob threatened as he turned his head in his direction and frowned at him.

Kiefer just laughed and took his things from his bag. He then moved next to Jacob and then stood up. Walking to Jacob's study table while carrying his book, notebook, and pen, a knock was suddenly heard on the door.

"I'll get it," Kiefer said while smiling as he hurriedly put his things on top of the table and walked to the door.

"Thank you, Mommy Chie!" Kiefer said with a bright smile plastered on his face as he took the tray with a plate of brownies and two glasses of water from Chie's hands.

"You're welcome, dear. You boys study hard, okay?" Chie smiled and stretched her arm to ruffle the alpha's hair.

"Yep! We will," Kiefer said, still smiling, and waited for Chie to walk away.

When she turned her back and started walking away, Kiefer closed the door and placed the tray on top of Jacob's table.

'Smells nice,' Jacob thought as he inhaled the aroma of the brownies from where he was. He immediately stood up and jogged towards the table so he could quickly get a piece.

But before he could even take one, he noticed that Kiefer was staring at a box that was placed next to the plate of brownies.

"What's this?" Jacob said as he picked the box up and then turned it over since the name of the product couldn't be seen earlier.

As the two of them looked at the box, they both almost choked on their salivas when they saw what it was.

"What's a box of condoms doing here?"
