The freaking massive earth spikes we passed were but a laughable understatement as soon as we managed to get up close. They were fvcking titanic monuments that almost went as high as the massive trees surrounding us. Some were even higher as they pierced the canopy up above, revealing the yellow rays of the sun as it stood as a monument of the struggle that took place.
"Fvcking hell..."
And that wasn't all. The number of trees that have fallen over in our path was like seeing an affront to climate change back in the old world. Each square meter of land that got caught in the struggle was practically leveled and deforested, the ground either turned into glass or split in two from the forces at play. I also noticed a ton of uprooted trees in their entirety, as if they were pulled out like some common grass as opposed to getting cut up and turned to lumber. And that wasn't to say that there weren't readily available lumber lying around either!
