The Monstrous Lin Feng
A dark abysmal light suddenly opened, the dark pupils seem to revolve continuously as a deep exhalation suddenly took place.
"AAAAHHH."
The kid with deep dark abysmal pupils, who was none other than Fenix immediately opened his eyes.
"Am I in Hell." That was the first word that came out of his lips, before he checked his surrounding. He finally realized that he was d in the wrong this time around.
He wasn't dead this time around, and surely he wasn't in Hell.
'For now I guess.' Fenix had a wry smile on his lips.
Glancing at instructor Relis before him. Fenix nod his head, checking around thoroughly.
He realized that they were some people who were being sent away the moment they exited the tower while some were allowed to stay.
He had a light smile on his face. He knew the ones that were leaving are none other than those who had failed the trial and the ones who remained where the ones who passed the trial.
As for what the criteria to pass was...that he didn't know. But he was absolutely confident that he passed.
Instructor Relis gave him a scrutinizing look, almost as though trying to see through him. After all instructor Relis was in charge of the trial, and he held with him a large tablet that showed countless trials. And if one looked clearly one could see Fenix battles being replayed over and over again,while the instructor continued to glance at him.
Fenix narrowed his eyes a bit.
'Hope am not in trouble, or did I not pass. Why else will this instructor be looking at me as though he can't wait to tear me apart.'

Instructor Relis seemed to finally get over it, glancing around a light ray suddenly pierced through the sky. The light ray coming from none other than the battle tower; signifying the end of the battletower trial.
"Alright, everyone has finished their battle tower trial. The next trial shall now take place." Instructor Relis said, before he further added.
"But before that, the top ten among the hundreds of participants shall be called out."
Fenix narrowed his eyes. He almost couldn't help but roar out in anger.
'Are the fucking trials not over yet.'
Sigh!!!
'Am I the only one feeling so defiant about this or the others are just feigning ignorance.'

The 3rd position in the battle trial tower goes to none other than a prodigy; a prodigy amongst prodigy. One with a high fifth grade talent. The 3rd position goes to....
The roar escaped the lips of the other participants. As although they were shocked as to why he wasn't first and who could be the people above him. Yet they still yelled out the name of the prodigy: Western Haven!
Western Haven had a light smile on his face. Although he was surprised that he only got 3rd position, that could be seen with the "oh" sound that immediately escaped his lips after the words of Instructor Relis.
"Interesting, so who are the two participants that scored better than me." Haven muttered with a narrowed eyes, his eyes slowly moving towards someone...and it was none other than...
"Fenix!"
'Only this guy had continuously been on par with him. From one dream trial to another stage of the dream trial. The kid had continuously shown great talent and willpower.
But even if he was part of the top two. That leaves a question behind. Who is the other guy.'
Elder Lionel and the other elders had a look of shock on their face, while Elder Davida simply let out a faint smile.
"Told you old geezers, didn't I." He let out a faint chuckle as his long black hair seemed to flow within the air for a second before coming to a stop.
"Hmph...like as if you aren't also part of the old geezers." Elder Lionel immediately snapped back.
Before he glanced at Instructor Relis who was still on the platform.
His voice suddenly boomed out.
"And you Relis. Fasten your ass and stop keeping us under suspense. This young man wants to know who the top two are."
Instructor Relis let out a faint smile
He was already used to Elder Lionel's simple remarks.
'Young man my foot.' Fenix couldn't help but let out a light chuckle, before he immediately forced himself to stop. He wouldn't want to be caught laughing at an Elder after all...who knows the elder might just immediately send him away and stop him from participating in the trial.
As his brother always says.
"The weak have no other choice than to obey the strong."
"Alright, the second position goes to none other than the first winner of the dream trial. He has proven to show great talent and astounding willpower. Surely he is bound to be a legend of a generation...."
Fenix had a light smile on his face but couldn't help but immediately cough out continously after he heard the shameless words from instructor Relis mouth.
Almost as though it was his profession.
'Maybe he once performed such activities.'
"It's none other than the dashing and mind blowing... Fenix!"
Everyone glanced at Febix, and although surprised, they weren't too shocked since he had displayed astounding performance in the last few trials.
But the question that seems to sting everyone now lingers in the air. If this Fenix and Haven are only second and third respectively, then who the hell is first.
And none other person could be more shocked than Fenix. He had his brows furrowed, seemingly in thought.
'I was able to reach that stage and I defeated a peak 3rd stage practitioner, then if this so called first place could surpass me. It only means one thing...'
Fenix had his eyes widen from shock.
'It only means the person was able to defeat someone a whole stage above him.'
Fenix took in a gulp of saliva, calming himself down from the shock. Before Instructor Relis voice suddenly tore through the tensed atmosphere.
And the first position for the battle trial tower goes to none other than a dashing and mind blowing young kid, one who seems to be a hidden and crouching tiger; one who suddenly came and seems to be bound to take the Martial world by surprise: It's known other than the talented and handsome "Lin Feng."
Instructor Relis said while immediately pointing at a guy whose eyes suddenly glowed a bright blue.
'What a show off.' That wad the first thought that came to Fenix mind after seeing such a thing.
It seemed almost as though the kid had kept himself hidden just waiting for this moment to showcase his truly handsome face.
And what separated the kid from most, he seems to have this kind of overflowing aura of confidence emanating from him, his eyes had a hint of blue and if one noticed carefully, one would see that one strand of his hair had a light blue color different from the other long dark hair.
Fenix didn't really think they could be someone among his age mate that was that handsome, at least this kid named Lin Fan could truly compete with him without losing out when it comes to look. But the question now remains, why did he choose to remain hidden until now.
"Thanks, thanks. This young one is simply just a normal teenager, trying his best on the martial path." Lin Feng gave an humble remark, but one would know he meant otherwise due to the smug expression being visibly displayed on his face.
"Also you don't need to try and compete with me. I know am too talented, so just bear that in mind. So you won't die out of frustration and depression."
"Gosh... Why am I so talented." Lin Feng further added with a light sigh.
'what a narcissist. But well I guess he does have the right to be arrogant. A low third stage practitioner defeating a low 4th stage- Bone forging and marrow cleansing stage expert. That was truly an astonishing achievement. '
Fenix had a light smile on his face, before slowly shaking his head from the remarks of Lin Feng.
Most of the other participants couldn't help but feel like strangling Lin Feng, while some simply scoffed at his words.
But the Elders were different, arriving before Instructor Relis. They checked the tablet held by him, seeing the various records and upon finay glancing at Lin Feng's own.
Elder Lionel couldn't help but unconsciously mutter.
"what a monster."
"Indeed. A third stage practitioner defeating a fourth stage practitioner without any concept or force. Truly a monster indeed." Elder Davida replied with a light smile.
"seems that a new core disciple is in place." Elder Davida further added.
"It's not so easy. Apart from combat talent, cultivation talent is also important. And he only has a top third grade talent. The same as that Fenix." One of the elders replied.
