Explosive Latte
Before i read the last line of the synopsis i thought it would be like, the system taking control over his body and going after some op girl and making her fall in love with the mc and after dual cultivating with her the mc won't know how to deal with her and it would lead to various situations, Basically a slice of life. But after fully reading the synopsis and reviews it seems to be trash
I hate reviews that give a ranking without any explanation, and unfortunately the most popular review for this novel is one of those. This novel's first chapters are certainly not the best. However, the novel does get much better as the MC learns to survive in a sect where all rules only apply to the poor, and all violations can be cleared with a fine. The MC grows throughout the series from a weak pushover with a weak mentality, to someone others fear and respect. Of course, everything I've just mentioned can only be seen if you move to the source material (MTL/RAW). In short, not a masterpiece, but it has many moments of laughter and definitely one of the best this site has introduced this month.
I really quite like this novel. It doesn't take itself entirely seriously, and the system he has allows for the author to get him into contrived and funny scenes that bely common sense (because the system has none). So far it's developed quite well, and fleshes out the world background so that you have a good picture of the past, present, and a hazy view of the future. It's fairly exciting, with battle-scenes that aren't just "He punched him, he fell over" sort of style, and has a decent dialogue along with extreme characters with interesting behaviours and viewpoints.
Good read, if you ignore the first chapter requires a fass pass. The only problem I have is the translations after around chapter 100. The grammar is fine but the mix up of "he/him/she/her/they/them/I/you" was really annoying. Additionally, the names of techniques, weapons etc sometimes change from time to time which can be a slight inconvenience.
