“Push the button,” Nate said.

I took the garage door opener they’d provided, pushed the button, and pulled Nate’s car into the garage as soon as there was sufficient clearance. “I’m glad they have a garage,” I said. “It wouldn’t do to have this nice new car sit out in the weather all the time.”

“It does that in the UNF parking lot every day,” Nate said.

“Yeah, but not at night. Let’s have a look at this place.”

We made our way from the garage into the house and saw stairs leading up. “George said this used to be one large recreation room,” I said, “but since they never used it, they added a couple of bedrooms downstairs.”

“Yeah, I remember. Come on, let’s go upstairs.”

I followed Nate up the steps and into a paneled great room. The second story was a modified A-frame design, and the front of the house was basically a wall of windows looking out onto the deck. “This is so cool,” Nate said. “I’m going out onto the deck.”
