Chapter 20; Tina Thompson is engaged mysteriously
" Alright I won't do it again, I was just a little anxious." Tatiana said softly, pouting her rosy lips.
" Alright my dear Nana, always be careful, my heart will ache seeing you getting hurt... mnn..?" She said gently while pinching her soft cheek.
"I wanted to join you for breakfast, I wanted to accompany you down." Tatiana said childishly.
" Alright Nana let's go." Tina carried her up and they went downstairs towards the dining room.
"Madam, Miss," they greeted politely. Sally, Susan and Felix were in the dining room holding magazines.
"What's good there you all guys are looking at?" Tina asked softly as she placed Tatiana on her lap. She served some sandwiches and milk, she fed Tatiana while eating too.
"The Mysterious Miss. Tina Thompson is engaged to a mysterious person, who do you think it's??" Felix read out the front page title.
The Mysterious T&T Corporation Boss engaged, who is the lucky guy?" Sally read out the front page title.
"The Business Tycoon Miss. Tina is engaged, the T&T Corporation Conglomerate welcomes a new member to their family." Susan read out.
" Oohh who is that Tina Thompson?" Tatiana asked curiously. Felix, Susan and Sally all turned their eyes, eying on Tina.
"Oohh just don't listen to their nonsense, I guess this magazines just want to make money, Who is that Tina Thompson anyway, even making the business world shake??, she's sharing with me a name, I hope I get the same luck." Tina said softly and continued feeding her.
"Yeah it's not that bad to have that much money, the person she got engaged to must be really lucky, that engagement party must have been extravagant." Tatiana said, but you could hear envy in her voice. Susan, Felix and Sally eyed her again.
"Hehehe my dear Nana, no need to be jealousy of those extravagant parties, you will hear the next day that the engagement broke. Simple things are good." Tina said softly brainwashing her.
" Yeah simple things are good, but it's good to have money, even if it's short-lived, you enjoyed it." she still felt envy, not because of money but because they got engaged but what about her.
"Nana, don't overthink things, mnn... you will have yours, a beautiful one, one of this days." Tina suddenly understood why she felt jealousy.
"Really?" Tatiana asked anxiously, you could see anticipation in her eyes.
"Of course my dear Nana, I will give you a rightful title to stay beside me, order me around, mnn...?" Tina said softly as she pinched her soft cheek.
"Alright Tina I feel sleepy, am full." She said so, she yawned and dozed off.
Tina took her back to their bedroom and laid her on bed, pulled the covers and tucked her in. She pecked her cheeks softly, went into the closet and changed into another black suit, the previous one was wrinkled already.
She went downstairs and walked towards the door and found Felix already ignited the engine.
"Have you found anything?" Tina asked politely.
" No, nothing Tina." Felix replied.
" Maybe we are looking in the wrong places, maybe I should just let her open up to me, then we can have a lead or clues."Tina sighed softly.
" Tell Shilla to rush up, I need the rings by weekend, also I want you to collaborate with the Danka club, arrange a nice way to propose to her in there, I hear the person managing the club for her, is her friend Erra so coordinate with her." Tina said softly.
" Alright Madam." Felix replied softly and drove towards her workplace.
In the Capital, Sabrina woke up early and went back into the bedroom prepared his clothes and tie, she freshened up and they went down together.
Ann, Joy and Sam were in the dining room having breakfast, while reading the headlines, in the different magazines.
"Good morning Mom, Dad, Sis." Jack greeted politely as he sat down.
" Good morning Uncle, Aunt, Joy." she greeted them perfunctorily and sat down, when they nodded their heads.
"Jack look at the magazines, today they are reporting that Tina Thompson is engaged!!" Joy said out loudly.
" Whaaaat!!!!!!" Sabrina exclaimed loudly, she realized she has overreacted and tried to reign her emotions but her face turned pale.
Jack pinched her thigh roughly warning her to behave herself and contain her emotions, he then turned to look at Joy.
"Are you sure it's Tina Thompson? When did that happen?? Where was the engagement party held, let me call her." Jack frowned bitterly and tried calling her business number, but it was busy everyone was calling the number.
He placed the phone back into her pocket. he sighed softly with bitterness in her heart.
"Didn't you say you know her? how come we didn't get to be invited?" Joy asked curiously.
" It might have been a private affair, no pictures are on the magazines." Sam spoke out.
Jack finished up his breakfast and went to the office while Sabrina went back to their bedroom.
Trina had just woken up, went downstairs towards the dining room and started having breakfast when Jimmy her brother passed the magazine to her, seeing the tittle, she sweeped everything down to the floor.
"Whaaaat!!!!! I won't accept it!!! I will have her back!!! She is mine, she belongs to me!!! I will get rid of that person, I have to have her by force!!! I will make sure she loves me." Trina busted out, shedding tears.
" Trina, calm down, getting rilled up here won't help anything, you have to think of a solution or way." Jimmy said softly while comforting her.
"But how Jimmy, I haven't seen her since I came back, I asked Sabrina and Jack but they don't know where she is or her whereabouts."Trina slumped down, and cried softly.
"Sabrina and Jack will be holding their engagement party, she will show up for sure." Jimmy tried comforting her.
" Do you think it's a woman or a man!?? Who could it be?? Did she stop loving Sabrina already?? How come it isn't me Jimmy, why?" Trina sobbed.
