Chapter 13; Madam crying won't help
Jack took out his belt and started lashing her roughly, "stupid woman!!! you are useless!! you not helping me in anyway, am just feeding you for nothing", the belt fell on her whole body like downpour.
"Jack please don't beat me anymore, I will work harder and convince her, she accepted the engagement invitation already." Sabrina said in between sobs.
" All you know to do is spend my money.. I will show you today." saying that he increased the strength of lashing.
She was beaten black and blue, "Get out of here I don't want to see you. You better don't eat for three days." saying that Jack picked up his phone, car keys and blazer, he walked out the house and drove away.
She slumped down and wept, ' it's been five years of torture, everytime things didn't work out, she was a punching bag. since he knew Tina owns T&T Corporation, he is been having wild imaginations of gaining profit from it, Tina I really regret it so much.'
While in thought another call came in, it was Jack.
"Hello Jack, what's up?" She asked politely.
"Hello Tina I will be getting engaged next month on 2nd, please do attend, I will leave the invitation letters at your company. " Jack said politely.
" Alright let's hope I will be available. " saying that she cut the call.
" What's the matter with them? calling me one after another, after five years. Am I there engagement witness?" Tina asked curiously.
" Hahaha they might be plotting something or maybe they know you own T&T Corporation." Felix said softly, immediately another call came in. Looking at the display it was a new number, she picked up curiously.
"Hello it's Trina, How are you Tina??" she asked softly.
" Ohhh am good what's up?" She asked politely.
" Are you around? I thought of having dinner with you, I just returned." she spoke softly.
" Ohhh am not around next time." Tina declined politely.
" Alright let me know when you are around." Trina replied politely.
" Alright Trina see you soon." she said and cut the call immediately another call came in.
"Why do I have so many calls coming in today?" Tina asked curiously.
" Hahaha you might have won a lottery." Felix laughed softly. Tina saw Tatiana stirring up, she passed the phone back to Felix.
"Answer them and tell me their problems later." Tina said as she saw Tatiana opening her eyes, signalled him to go.
" Hey Nana, how are feeling?" she asked her softly while pinching her soft cheek lightly.
"Am alright Tina sorry to worry you." She replied sweetly.
Tina bent down and kissed her cheek light as she said, " It's okay Nana, I will always be here."
Tatiana smiled sweetly at her, her eyes crystal clear.
" Are you feeling hungry? do you want to eat?" She asked her.
" Tina.. I don't have any appetite I don't want to eat." she replied sweetly while pouting her rosy lips.
Tina helped her sit up, carried her and placed her on her lap, she pecked her forehead gently and said, "But Nana taking medicine needs you to eat, I will carry you down and feed you, you just need to open your mouth alright?"
Tatiana nodded her head gently. Tina carried her and they went downstairs towards the dining room, she found Felix and Susan having dinner.
"Madam, Miss," she greeted politely and went to bring food and serve them.
The doctor stepped in just as Susan was bringing food, with someone tagging behind him.
"Madam" they called gently.
"Mnn.. give her the injection." Tina said politely and stretched Tatiana's hand out, to the doctor, Tatiana wanted to struggle but she heard Tina's gentle voice "be good, it will be over soon." she comforted her while caressing her back.
The doctor injected sooner and passed the tablets to Tina, she then fed her by mouth and then she gave her some honey to sweeten her mouth.
"Now see!! all done easily." Tina said softly.
Tatiana nodded gently.
" This is the nurse who volunteered." Dr. Tim said politely.
" Mnnh it's okay she just needs to stay and accompany her always." Tina said.
" Tina I don't want anyone to watch me," Tatiana whined.
" Nana you need someone standby, unless you let me see you are capable taking medicine and controlling your emotions." Tina said softly.
"Felix arrange for her in the other room. You can join us for dinner, please Susan serve them." saying that she took a plate full of food and started feeding her.
Finishing up, she carried her upstairs to their bedroom.
"mnnh Nana, you smell good." Tina compliment her softly. Tatiana nodded her head and her head fell on her shoulders. she was already asleep.
She placed her on the bed, got a warm wet towel cleaned her hands and face. she kissed her cheeks lightly caressing her wavy hair.
"Nana you will be fine, that's a promise, I won't let any harm come to you" she vowed. She then went downstairs, meeting the nurse.
" Hello Madam, my name is Sally, pleasure meeting you." Sally greeted her.
"Hello Sally, am going down so keep a close watch on her, in case she wakes up" Tina said.
" Alright madam. " she replied and went upstairs to start her duties.
"Felix, any news?" Tina asked as she sat down on the couch in the living room and started watching TV.
"Not yet, they are on the move, but they will be caught by midnight." Felix replied to her.
" Alright then." They sat and started watching a movie.
In the Capital, the maids went forward to help her to her bedroom. Sitting on the bed, the maid picked up a first aid kit from the cabinet, and started applying the ointment.
"Madam don't you think it's time to give up!!" the maid asked softly.
" Give up then what?? Where will I find money to return back, I accepted this transaction, I have worked hard on this relationship for five years, how can I leave and let another woman occupy." Sabrina sobbed bitterly.
" Madam crying won't help, you need to find a solution." the maid advised.
