Planning to escape

"Tiger, anyone that still has their eyes on her in this room, I want them dealt with, whoever dared to eye what belongs to Jamal Al Jazeerah," he ordered the hefty bodyguard standing behind him with a voice so chilling and low, it makes one think of death and chaos.

Sabrina wondered to herself if this was a chick flick or if she was inside some sort of strange realm because what sort of person wants other people dead just because they are staring at her? She already believed that it was just a joke when the man in charge of the auction spoke up.

"I beseech you, Prince Jamal, to forgive these men; they had no idea who you are. Hence they wouldn't have made a mistake," The man said in a voice that quivered with fright with his head still lowered as if avoiding Jamal's gaze.

A line appeared between Jamal's eyebrows as he considered the men and gestured to his bodyguard, who nodded his head in acknowledgment and lowered his head in reverence before moving off stage.

Sabrina watched as more men in black filled the hall, and in the blink of an eye, eight men who did not lower their gaze were being dragged out by their necks, their faces white with fear.

Not a minute had passed before she heard screams coming from the direction the men had been dragged. Their screams and shrieks were soul-wrenching, and Sabrina's eyes widened as she clutched her hands together in fear; those men were being mutilated.

Sabrina was already beside herself with fear when the man who had been in charge of the bidding, was forced to his knees and was knocked unconscious.

Sabrina looked from the man's figure to Jamal's face, which held a cold smile; Jamal looked back at her, and her eyes collided with his green one, her face white with fear, but her defiant nature did not allow her to break his gaze.

Jamal glanced at the little redhead staring down at him despite the obvious fear on her face; she has spirit; he will give her that. He wondered how long she would be able to endure before she broke, and he was eager to find out.

Without saying a word, Jamal retrieved his suit and draped it over her shoulders, and self-consciously, Sabrina pulled the lapel of the suit together, covering her nakedness, before she followed him out of the brothel, with shrieks of pain and agony following in their wake.

As Jamal reached the gate of the brothel, he ordered the rest of his men outside to burn down the whole building.

"it will not be said that Al Jazeerah's woman was bought from a brothel; I want the whole building in ashes," He said as they approached one of a fleet of black cars parked in front of the brothel.

But Sabrina stopped in mid-step, shocked at what he had just said; he wanted to burn down a whole building because he didn't want people to know how she came to be with him; he must be a completely mad man.

"Get in," Jamal said in an unusually low voice, snapping Sabrina from her shocked state; she was about to argue, but the look on his face warned her that this was not the time, so she nodded her head and got into the car.

"Go to the Spilotro; I have business with Lorento," Jamal instructed the driver of the car, and he nodded his head in acknowledgment.

The car sped from the brothel and drove off into the night, with Jamal and Sabrina in the backseat and one of Jamal's bodyguards in the driver seat.

Sabrina opened her eyes as the car slowly glided to a stop in front of a rundown casino; she had closed her eyes and feigned sleep to undermine the tension that had spiked up at being in this enclosed space with her new master.

Sabrina stared at the man in question, his expression hard and inscrutable, his mouth set in a forbidding line, and his eyes holding no warmth.

It was at this moment when Sabrina's gaze was scrutinizing him, that he turned his head to look at her. Their eyes met, his cold green ones sending chills through her, but she kept her face passive, showing none of what she felt inside.

"I'll be back in a bit, don't do anything stupid," he bit out in a voice so cold that it demanded obedience, sending chills through Sabrina. She made no indication that she heard him, just continued glaring.

"I promise you will learn the meaning of obedience, and you will learn to fear me more than you fear losing your life," Jamal glowered with a chilling smile that made him appear even more evil before he stepped out of the car and headed towards the rundown building.

After he was gone, the driver also got down and stood by the door, a large cigar in his hand, smoking and puffing into the night.

The survival instinct that had laid dormant in Sabrina suddenly awoke with full force. She decided she was not going to live her life as this evil man's pet. She figured this was her only chance to escape and she wouldn't ruin it.

So she placed her hand on the door handle and was about to step down from the car but stopped when she realized the stupidity of her action.

If she tries to leave now, the bodyguard will try to stop her, and if she does succeed in evading him, she will be alone in a part of Las Vegas considered dangerous, dressed in clothes no better than being naked and without a cent on her.

If she was going to escape, she had to plan it well; the problem was that she hardly had time to do any planning at the moment, and her master could come back anytime.

But she knows the first step is to find a way to get rid of the driver; there is no weapon in sight if she wants to fight him; maybe she will trick him with words, and hopefully, he will fall for it.

For now, she'll go through the car compartment, maybe she will find something useful.

So, with her heart in her throat, Sabrina checked to see if the driver was still occupied with his cigar. It seemed he was lost in his world, so she leaned forward over the console, hoping to God he would not turn around, or open the door at that moment.

Different scenarios of what would happen if he opened the door and caught her in the act flashed across her mind, but she dismissed it and focused on what she was about to do.
