CHAPTER 45 Getting Closer
"Are you close to your uncle?" asked Gerald after Peter went. He felt a bit sorry for Lisa's loss. But, he could not say his condolence as Peter did.?
Lisa pulled the corners of her lips. Gerald's question was pretty deep for her.
"My uncle is an annoying person, honestly. He always lectured me if I didn't come home to Long Sand Ville because of work. When I was a kid, he often bought me some dolls. It was the most beautiful moment with him," Lisa replied. Her teary eyes looked like a waterfall in which the water would fall.
"But, when I was a teenager, he was broke, so he often owed some money to my mom. It leads to the new chapter of our relationship," Lisa continued.
