Sense of Disappointment

Dante shook his head in disgust. His sister was included but her case seemed more disturbing.

"Brother Dante!", Ro sighted his familiar figure behind the pillar. "I knew it was you, why are you all alone? Where is Di- I mean, Vanessa".

"She's in my castle.... On my bed". He teased.

Ro's eyes narrowed. "You scum!".

"Don't cause a scene little man", he patted Ro's shoulder before walking off into the distance.

The night was bustling till about an hour when the rulers of each nation were called to a meeting.

"Dante Vladwick, please explain why you called yourself the king?". King Philip Pwajok of the seventh kingdom began the questioning.

The other mighty men around the high table mumbled between themselves.

"And why is a woman here?!", The king of the fifth kingdom pointed at Ishtar who was behind Dante. "You spit on the face of tradition!!". He pounded his fist on the table and some others nodded in agreement.
