' So much for surpasing my father the almighty and undefeated Great Wizard. This system brings. me trouble where ever I go. ' Anger was written on Author's face as he thought about this, then a smile came afterwards.

' At least, along with the problems, the system brings it's solutions.'

" Hey Mara what will be the best weapon to use when fighting a large set of enemies?" Asked Author.

" uuhh.. a double bladed sword. Why ask? Don't tell me you want to fight those guys on your own and besides where will you get a double bladed sword?" Mara asked with a worry for Author's safety.

Author looked at Mara with a smile. " I am sorry I didn't tell you this before, however I am the son of the Great Wizard and his power runs in my veins, so everything you see me do here today, don't be shocked.

With this said Mara went numb, she was still trying to process what Author just said.

' Wait but come to think of it, he had displayed the attributes of a super being and that explains everything. I think there is still a lot I need to learn about him, but I have been with him like we knew each other since we were kids.'

Mara and Author were still in the carriage, when all of a sudden, a double bladed sword appeared in Author's hands.

Mara was a little shocked by this. " So this is what you meant by the power of the Great Wizard runs in your veins. I did not expect expect to witness this power so soon." Mara confessed.

" You are just seeing the tip of the iceberg, there is more to come." Author replied in a tone full of pride.

Author and Mara stepped out of the carriage all equipped for battle.

Author had his double bladed sword,

while Mara was carrying two daggers wich Author had crafted for her.

The members of the Dark Eye guild were a total of seven in number, and each of them rode on a dark horse.

When the leader of the squad saw that Author and Mara were armed with weapons, he couldn't help but chuckle at them.

" What do we have here? Are you sure you two love birds are willing and ready to face us?" After saying that, he stepped down from his horse, then he started taking slow steps towards the duo, with a calm smile on his face.

Now that he was down from his horse, Author noticed how huge the man was , he wore a strange dark amor on him.

he had a bald head with a long dried up scald running across it from his left ear to his right eye.

When Author looked at his sword, he noticed the symbol of an eye shedding dark tears, that was found on the weapon of the other guards.

" Little boy, you haven't realized what you have gotten yourself into have you? The moment you messed with those guards, you messed with all of us.

Now, I don't know who you think you are, and I don't care to know, but you will be surely punished." As the leader was saying these words, the other members of his squad stepped down from their horses and stood there, still sorounding the carriage.

At this point the coachman of the carriage was hiding inside of the carriage, because of the fear for his life.

" You can do what you want with me but I won't let you lay a finger on her." Author replied.

" Well good luck." The leader said this and took a step behind, while his men took out their weapons.

One of the knights charged in towards Author and slash his sword with great force, but to his surprise Author easily blocked it and when he looked at his sword, just half of it was left and the other half was on the ground.

" Oops" Said Author as he smashed the soldier, sending him flying away.

The rest of the knights saw this and fear settled in their minds, so they decided to take things slowly and this time around all of them charged in.

Mara readied her weapon and at this point both her and Author were backing each other while facing the opposite direction, towards different enemies.

Author was a good fighter, almost perfect because of his skill, Weapon Efficiency and Mara on the other hand was good, because she had been training herself all her life to become a good fighter.

The knights were sending in their attacks all at once, Author was and Mara were able to defend themselves but at this rate Mara would soon run out of energy.

Although the knights were sending in their attacks at the same time, Author could could see all their movements, and it seemed like the knights were attacking in slow motion.

Author could easily defeat them, sending them flying away in pain but he made sure he applied just enough force or inflict a wound just deep enough not to kill them.

" augh"

Mara had been overwhelmed by the attacks which made her fall on the ground with a wound on her shoulder.

When Author heard Mara's voice shouting in pain, he turned around to aid her. With his back turned, the leader of the squad who had not yet joined the fight, saw this as an opportunity to stab Author at the back, so he was on the move.

When Mara lifted her head, her eyes caught the leader just as he was about to complete his move.

" Stooooop."

The shout was so loud that it made everyone fighting to take a pause.

When they turned and looked at Mara, she had her hand out and shockingly her eyes never had a dark pupil inside. It was completely white and a glow was emitting from it.

Then suddenly the leader of the squad who had his hand up, holding his sword, ready to attack, dropped the sword and fell on his knees, bowing his head down and said

" Command me master I will grant your request."
