AUTHOR VS MR X

Author was surprised to see that John was still lying on his bed. This was because he had concluded that John had totally transformed and left through the walls for a mission.

Author decided to step outside to see if he could sense the shadow figure anywhere around, but it was too late as the figure had already gone far away.

Then Author decided to turn back to bed.

The next day, all students were busy going to their classes to meet their home room teachers.

The level two black belts had a different home room teacher from that of level one.

Author went to his class wich looked like a fighting hall, with different weapons and armors hanging on the walls. And there he met other students. There were a total of six students in that class with Author being one of them.

And he learned that the sixth student was a repeater and his name was kenneth murray.

There were two girls in that class too.

That is; Iris and Arya . They were both beuties and looked like sisters as both of them had similar features like blonde hair and a bad girl look.

There was a tall boy too with a slim body. Author learnt his name was Benjamin.

And finally, the one whom Author had assumed that it was the assassin in the prophecy; he was the quiet type and had not disclosed his name to anyone including the teacher but he was quickly named Mr X.

The class started and all the six students stood on a horizontal line facing the teacher.

Author stood on one end and Mr X on the other.

Author couldn't help but steal a glance at the strange guy every now and then. He looked just like an ordinary guy with dark hair, deep eyes and an average height, nothing out of the ordinary. But Author couldn't be fooled by his looks because he was a trained assassin and what he was doing here was all an act.

" Good morning students I am Leo and I will be your home room teacher till you leave level one. " A tall and handsome, muscular man with blonde hair, addressed the students.

" I will start by telling y'all the basics of this form of martial arts.

" You all will be trained to become ninger assassins. And in this form, the more agile you are, the better. You all will learn new gymnastic styles and you will learn what you should call The Silent Run.

Further more you all will learn more fighting styles. And also learn the basics of how to use some ninga weapons.

So today we are going to start by testing your basic skills in gymnastics, fighting and running quietly."

The first test started with gymnastics and the teacher asked each student to came forward and make some moves.

Mr X was picked first since he was at the beginning of the line. He steped forward and took a stance.

The hall was quiet as everyone watched in anticipation.

He leaped up and spinned backwards thrice, Making a total of three back flips.

Everyone including the teacher was blown away by this.

" Not bad Mr X. That was a good start." The teacher praised Mr X as he went back quietly to stand in line. Iris was already sending signals towards Mr X but it was hard to get to someone who never smiled.

The next student to perform was kenneth, the repeat student.

He stepped forward and managed to do two back flips wich was an amazing thing given his fat size, even dough he had a rough landing.

Benjamin and the two girls could only perform a single back flip each.

When it came to Author's turn, he wanted to match up with the suspected assassin so he also performed three back flips.

The two boys caught the attention of the teacher, so he decided to go straight to dueling in order to see the potential of the two boys.

" You know honestly, I must admit that the test that determined you power level that you all performed out there, on the first day, was a waste of time. This is where the real test is." Mr leo said sincerely as he matched the dueling partners.

Arya was facing Iris. Benjamin was paired against kenneth and finally Author against Mr X.

The teacher asked them to fight silmutaneously as he went around assessing them. But he had his eyes on one of the fights the most. And that was Author against Mr X.

He saw that both of them took their stance and were still looking at each other for some reason.

' Looking at him, it is really difficult to understand what he is thinking.' Author thought to himself.

After a while, finally Mr X stepped forward and so did Author.

They started throwing punches and kicks towards each other and both of them could tell that the other was holding back his strength.

' What ever kingdom you are from and what ever your mission is here, I won't let you succeed.' Thought Author.

' Who is this guy, he is an interesting character I wish to see more.' Thought Mr X.

' Why are they holding back?' thought the teacher.'

' Please win Mr X. I love you.' Thought Iris.

' Oh boy am starving, I can do anything for food now.' Thought kenneth the fat boy who was already sweating.

The fight between Author and Mr X had lasted for a while but other fights had halted and everyone now had their focus on the two.

For the first time, Author could see a little, evil smile on Mr X's face for a short time, then it disappeared.

Then he noticed that Mr X had increased the strength behind his attacks, even dough it wasn't even up to half of his strength.

' What is he up to?' Author wandered as he also increased the strength behind his attacks too.

(( Quest received, A strong opponent has been dictated; last for five minutes.))

When Mr X saw that Author was able to keep up with his attacks, he decided to increase his strength to above half.

At this point, things became heated and everyone took a step behind because the fight had become wild like two beasts were. fighting.

Mr X sent forward a punch and Author struggled to block it on time before it could destroy some of his ribs and countered with a punch of his own right on the jaw of Mr X.

It sent him skidding behind a little. Then he noticed that there was a drop of his dark blood at the side of his lips and used his tongue to lick it.

He took a stance and he once again had that evil smile from before, this time around, even wider.

' Now this is what I am talking about. The real test baby.' Mr Leo thought as he crossed his arms and the smile on his face showed that he was enjoying the fight.

' Oh he is so cute when he smiles.' Of course it is Iris thinking again.

' Food!' Thought Kenneth the faty.

Mr X charged forward increasing his speed and strength although not to the maximum.

And he started attacking Author. Author suddenly went defensive as he was almost using all his strength to block the attacks.

Suddenly Author couldn't see the attacks coming from Mr X but he could only feel the pains.

' What is going on, is he using an illusion ability?'

To the people watching, Author was covering his head when a punch was approaching his stomach and covered his stomach when the punch was approaching his head.

This made no sense and most concluded that Author was just a bad fighter, but Mr Leo could sense something going on, so he decided to intervene.

" Alright, Alright, we will end duels here for today so that we can move on to the last activity for today."

Author was glad that the duel had been stopped, then he checked his system and he was happy that he had hanged on for five minutes and thus achieving his quest.
