Chapter 1

As Sora attempted to escape the destroyed world, he grasped Misaki's hand and never let go of her hand. The demons attempted to take them back, and so they gave chase. One of the demons grabbed Misaki's hand, yet they were too weak to pull her back into the cage.

"Come on! We're almost at the vortex!"

Yet it was still too late. One of the Figures, known as Niyosha, stood in their way and he sealed off the vortex that led the others to a safer place.

"Niyosha! What on earth are you doing?!"

"It's either I die here, or you die here." Without a warning, Niyosha summoned his blade and shot a slash wave at Sora.

Sora dodged the slash.

"Please! Just let us go! Misaki can't hold on anymore! She's gonna die any second!"

"No."

And another Slash wave arrived

Sora dodged the shot again, unsealed the vortex, and successfully got Luna into the vortex. However, just as Sora was about to enter the vortex...

"Playtime's over, Narukami."

Niyosha then launched a third slash wave, which brought Sora flying away from the vortex.

And the vortex was about to close.

"The vortex is about to close!"

" I don't give a damn! Die then!"

However, Niyosha made a fatal mistake. He launched the slash wave toward Sora, who happened to be standing in front of the vortex. The slash wave then brought Sora flying into the vortex.

As Sora closed his eyes slowly, he caught a last glimpse of Niyosha's face, and he blacked out for that moment.

After what seemed like an eternity...

"Sora! You're awake!"

Sora climbed out of his bed slowly.

"Where...are we?"

"You're at your own home!"

Sora's eyes adjusted to his surroundings. He really could not believe his eyes. The familiar scent of sakura drifted into his window, and he went downstairs to confirm. It was really his place. In the cupboard, was a piece of ancient Dragon Jade that left untouched for quite a while. Outside, in the backyard, was a huge Sakura tree, whose branches had grown as tall as the second floor of the house, which explained why Sora smelt Sakura the moment he woke up. Underneath the Sakura tree was a little wooden door on the tree trunk, where all of Sora's secrets were hidden. Ever since his parents died due to a sickness, he had been going there quite often.

"But...wasn't our world destroyed?"

Misaki replied with a, "beats me".

Sora then knew where to check. He then entered the Sakura tree, and entered another secret room in his secret hideout, and saw the Jade Katana hung there.

Sora gasped. Then he sighed.

"Seeing this, I believe... that it is true... parallel worlds exist..."
