"Hello Sir!" Li Jun greeted, the elderly soul warrior.

The soul warrior's face was softly smiled. "Come on, kid. go and stand in the middle."

Li Jun blinked briefly before walking over to the middle and taking a seat. He simply performed as the soul warrior instructed.

The soul fighter grinned and said hello, "My name is Zhang Yong, and the Sky splitting bow is my nexus weapon. I'm a Tier-7 Soul warrior with the rank Emperor."

"So there are ranks as well!" Li Jun was taken aback when he heard the term because it was relevant to his previous life's career. Ranks represented strength and prosperity to him.

A person's strength is denoted by his or her rank. Nexus Ranks are another name for them.

Cultivation is a frequent way to raise one's rank. The Nexus Ranks are graded in multiples of 10, and with each Rank's deca-end, are named as Tiers.

Following are the Titles given in order of their rank, from Trainee to Nexus Combatant.

Rank 1 - 10 : Trainee (Mortal)

Rank 11 - 20 : Warrior (Tier 1 Soul Warrior)

Rank 21 - 30 : Expert (Tier 2 Soul Warrior)

Rank 31 - 40 : Knight (Tier 3 Soul Warrior)

Rank 41 - 50 : Elder (Tier 4 Soul Warrior)

Rank 51 - 60 : Progenitor (Tier 5 Soul Warrior)

Rank 61 - 70 : Emperor (Tier 6 Soul Warrior)

Rank 71 - 80 : Saint (Tier 7 Soul Warrior)

Rank 81 - 90 : Combatant (Tier 8 Soul Warrior)

Rank 91 - 98 : Nexus Combatant (Tier 9 Soul Warrior)

Rank 91 - 94 : Supreme Combatant (Tier 9 Soul Warrior)

Rank 95 - 98 : Hyper Combatant (Tier 9 Soul Warrior)

And it appears that no one has gotten any higher than that. There is also the same kind of rank system for the Nexus Warriors too!

The Soul warrior, "Now let's go on! Shall we get started?" With a creaky old voice, he said.

Li Jun stood anxiously in the middle of the Awakening Chamber, filled with slight excitement and apprehension.

A soothing white light shone from the Soul Warrior's hands at that same time, drawing his attention.

Could that white light be the renowned spirit power that only Soul Warrior possesses?

The Soul Warrior raised his right arm slightly in front of his amazed gaze. The white light vibrated before shooting off into the sky and blooming into fireworks that shone brightly in the Awakening Chamber.

The inscription lines filled with light as they moved from the ceiling to the walls. It seemed to have a strong and renewing vitality as well as a life of its own. The lines continued to light up until they joined beneath Li Jun's feet.

A numbing energy crawled up his legs before entering his body through his heart. Li Jun's body trembled as he strained to keep his balance. His body felt as if it were being struck by lightning.

"Wha..My body..." Everything blurred in front of his eyes, and a hazy vision flickered in his thoughts. He wanted a good look at it, but all he could see were its flowing shadows. He was eventually able to view it, but he couldn't recall what it was.

According to the Soul Warrior, Li Jun's body was already being surrounded in light and emitting its own light. His nexus weapon has been awakened during this ancient traditional ceremony.

"What the..? Ah——!" Li Jun couldn't help but scream, which startled the elderly Soul Warrior. A typical youngster would not feel much during their Awakening, but a very small fraction of them would experience great pain due to their weak bodies being unable to withstand the energy.

The Soul Warrior's body disappeared in an instant and reappeared in front of Li Jun. In the event that the situation worsened, he would quickly halt the ceremony and ensure Li Jun's safety.

When he got close enough, he noticed a golden light flickering on Li Jun's hands. Following that, the golden light began to spread to his four limbs, causing his body to glow in the gold light.

"What the hell happened? Is the Qi Center manifested? How is that possible?" Li Jun was thinking about his body's condition and mental consciousness even as he screamed.

What was the nature of this Nexus? This Soul Warrior was a veteran Soul warrior who had woken thousands and tens of thousands of children. However, this was the first time he had witnessed the situation unfolding in Li Jun's body.

Li Jun's physique radiated a faint energy that undulated. This energy came from his lower belly, which is the most frequent location for Spirit power to manifest. Although the energy was frightening, its presence was unparalleled. The Soul warrior began to tremble.

The Soul Warrior was pleasantly astonished when he discovered that this was a Nexus Weapon with Spirit power! Most of the time, he could go for days without encountering a youngster born with spirit power. Today's luck appears to have been quite favorable. Only one question remained: what was his Spirit Nexus Weapon?

The earlier golden light has already vanished without a trace, as if they had never existed. Li Jun's eyes were tightly closed, as if he was in excruciating pain. He gradually raised his right arm.

The hollow of his palm faced upwards, emitting a beautiful crimson-golden light. In his hands was a Dagger with various crimson and golden lines stamped on it like engravements.

And as Li Jun gently opened his eyes, the Azure color of his eyes glistened within his iris, coupled with the purple glimmer in the surroundings.

"Wha!...Wha...What the hell???" The Soul warrior was terrified since he felt powerless and had a feeling of....

"Huh! Sir? What happened? Why are you scared? " Li Jun asked as he saw the Soul warrior trembling as he fell on the floor.

"You...the...You....!!??" The Soul Warrior trembled.

"I'm What?" Li Jun asked with confusion.

Li jun didn't notice, but the feeling the soul warrior felt was...

"Death".
