Settling In as Photographer

(The man who was to answer back was Chimon Imai. Ezekiel and Mei's father and Akane's ex-husband)

Chimon-" Ah~ Ezekiel, you look dashing"

Ezekiel-" Thank you, father. You don't look too bad yourself"

(Chimon gets out of his chair)

Chimon-" Did you get the photos I asked of you?"

(Ezekiel passes over the portfolio. Chimon opens it and looks through all the photos with his back turned to Ezekiel. While he did, Ezekiel felt a slight fear of disappointment but didn't dare express it out loud)

Chimon-" That's good"

(But abruptly, Chimon slams the photo's onto his desk)

Chimon-" But not good enough!"

(Ezekiel didn't speak, knowing what would happen if he did. Chimon aggressively places his index finger on a picture, but really expressing his feelings to all of them)

Chimon-" This work is the best in this area so I will give you the job, but if I don't see you step up by the time DNE debuts, I won't hesitate to send you out. You're a disappointment so far, so don't embarrass me. You got that?"

Ezekiel-" Yes father"

Chimon-"-And don't call me that. You'll never be a son of mine"

Ezekiel-" Yes.. sir"

Chimon-" That's more like it"

(Chimon opens to door to his office and accidentally hits someone in the face who was about to knock on the door. It pushes them down and makes all the papers they were holding scatter)

Chimon-" What the hell are you doing?"

(Ezekiel heard as a weak female voice spoke)

Employee-" I-I'm sorry sir! These were the reports on the new trainees. You told me to bring them to your office-"

Chimon-" I know that! Do you think I'm stupid?!"

Employee-" No sir!"

(Chimon sighs)

Chimon-" Clean this up and place them on my desk. NOW"

(The employee rushes to clean up the papers. Chimon starts to walk off, giving Ezekiel the chance to start to walk as well. Ezekiel emerges from behind the door and the employee's eyes immediately shoot up. He could tell she started to blush straight away)

Employee-" M-Morning Mr. Imai"

(Ezekiel pauses a second before answering back)

Ezekiel-" Morning"

(Suddenly both the employee and Ezekiel hear Chimon shout from down the hall)

Chimon-" Rush Ezekiel!"

(Ezekiel looks away from the employee, though she continued to stare)

Ezekiel-" Yes sir!"

(Ezekiel begins to walk off without looking back at the employee even though he could sense her gaze as he walked farther and farther. Ezekiel and Chimon leave her sight, triggering her back into reality to continue picking up the papers that were scattered all over the floor around her)

Chimon-" Don't waste your time talking to commoners Ezekiel. They aren't worth your time and patience"

Ezekiel-" Sir, if I may. What makes you say she's a commoner? She could be just as rich as you and you wouldn't know"

(Chimon looks back at Ezekiel with a furious look. He suddenly realizes what he's unleashed)

Chimon-" Are you saying I'm wrong?!"

Ezekiel-" No sir. It's my fault for asking such a question. I'm sorry I even spoke"

(Chimon pauses)

Chimon-" Great. Don't ever question me"

(Chimon turns back and continues to walk while Ezekiel follows. They reach a large room where inside were a bunch of people, pictures, and overall inspiration for future Idols)

Chimon-" Everyone STOP!"

(Ezekiel watched as everyone in the room immediately froze and turned their attention to them just at the word of his dad)

Chimon-" Everyone, introduce yourself to Ezekiel. He will be your new photographer. Show him to the studio and help him with tasks if he so desires"

(Chimon leaves, giving Ezekiel a small serious glance as he walks past him quietly. Right after he closes the door, most people in the room run up to Ezekiel, introduce themselves, and insist on helping him. He gets overwhelmed very quickly)

Ezekiel-" Please calm down. I'm only an employee like all of you"

(Eventually, Ezekiel is shown to the studio where he would do most of his work. Finally, he was alone. He sighs while connecting his camera to the printer and reprinting all the photos his father had thrown around, and printing photos he made in his free time. While pinning some of his work onto his corkboard, he hears a knock on the open door which makes him jump and accidentally cut himself with a push pin. He heard a giggle from the doorway)

???-" You're quite jumpy Mr. Imai"

(He turns around while sucking his index finger)

Ezekiel-" Did you need something?"

(The girl walks up with a cup of coffee. She places it down on the table beside Ezekiel. She puts a hand out for a handshake)

Etsuko-" I'm Etsuko. I work with the creative director"

(Ezekiel proceeds with the handshake)

Ezekiel-" Don't we all?"

(Etsuko giggles again though Ezekiel was speaking literally)

Etsuko-" You're funny. Yes, technically. I'm her assistant is what I meant"

(Ezekiel goes back to pinning up his work)

Ezekiel-" So back to you needing something-"

Etsuko-" Woah~ Did you do all this?"

(Ezekiel silently watches as Etsuko admires his work. He continues to print and set up his office the way he wants)

Etsuko-" You're amazing!"

Ezekiel-" That's very flattering but I need to get better. I'll disappoint my father- ahem... Chimon"
