First Night

Mei-" oooo~ Do you like him back?"

(Lynnon texts Nana while they continue to talk. She softly laughs)

Lynnon-" No it's not like that. Don't get me wrong, I love Nana but just not like that. He knows how I feel and he's still persistent but I don't mind"

Mei-" Boo~ Would've been cute to have some romance. Two lovers separated by each other's dreams. Will their romance last through the hardships of living on separate sides of the world or will it die, leaving both halves of a broken heart in tragedy"

(Mei says in extreme drama. Kaito turns back)

Kaito-" That sounds stupid"

(Mei sticks her tongue out at Kaito. Lynnon laughs)

Lynnon-" I'm sure Nana would love for that to be reality but It's never gonna happen"

(The whole group has a small laugh. A few minutes later, Akira pulls into a normal-looking house where another bigger car was parked. The four of them walk in and immediately, Lynnon knew there was going to be a problem. The place was a complete mess!)

Mei-" Welcome to our hangout!"

(Mei runs over to the living room, right of the entrance, and jumps on the couch)

Mei-" All of us have our own houses but since you don't, we're letting you stay here"

Lynnon-" Great!..."

Akira-" I'll show you to your room"

(Akira brings Lynnon upstairs and shows her to the most normal-looking room in the house. Everything was neat and there wasn't one speck of dirt)

Akira-" No one uses this room. I know, this place is a mess and I agree but the others love this place so I go along with it. Since you're probably thinking the same, I thought this was perfect. Feel free to do absolutely whatever you want in this room, literally no one cares"

Lynnon-" Thanks"

(Lynnon puts all her bags on the bed)

Akira-" We're gonna go eat. You wanna come?"

Lynnon-" Sure"

(The four of them leave and meet at Hot Ramen with the other two members of the skate team)

Mei-" Heyo!"

???-" Hey Mei! Oh! Is that her?"

Mei-" Yup! Du-dudah-dah, Lynnon Miller!"

(Mei dows jazz hands towards Lynnon)

Lynnon-" Oh. Hello"

(Lynnon waves)

Riku-" Hey~ I'm Riku"

Oda-" Oda. Nice to meet you finally"

(Riku gets up from his seat and kisses Lynnons hand)

Riku-" M'lady. Just know that I'm the real gentlemen on this team"

Akira-" Oh please"

(Akira bonks Riku on the head)

Oda-" You ever had ramen before?"

Lynnon-" Not legit ramen"

(They all get into their seats)

Oda-" Do you mind if I surprise you?"

Lynnon-" Go ahead! I have no idea what to order anyway"

(The group eats, jokes, and overall has an amazing time. Mei drives everyone except Oda and Riku home and lastly, Lynnon)

Mei-" So~ How was your first day here?"

Lynnon-" Great! I loved it"

(Mei smirks)

Mei-" Something bothering you~"

(Lynnon laughs in a guilty way)

Lynnon-" The thing is. I came here for your skate team correct? But my main priority this year was to start college. Now that I'm here, I doubt I'll even go"

Mei-" You know, there's this really amazing college not too far away. It's the best in Tokyo. It has classes for people who speak English so you could always go there"

Lynnon-" I have absolutely no money"

Mei-" Money isn't a problem. I called you here so making you pay for college when you never originally thought of going here would be cruel. I would love to pay your tuition for you and I'm sure my mom would agree. She'd pay on the spot if she had to. She's totally opposite of my dad"

Lynnon-" Are you kidding?!"

(Mei freezes, a bit confused)

Mei-" No?"

(Lynnon hugs Mei)

Lynnon-" Thank you SO MUCH! You're a lifesaver!"

Mei-" No problem!"

(Lynnon pulls away)

Mei-" I could also see if my brother could help you out. He goes to the same college. To be honest, I only knew they had English classes because of him. He takes them since his first language is English but he's fluent in Japanese so I don't really get it"

(Mei notices Lynnons face)

Mei-" Sorry! I'm rambling"

Lynnon-" No no! I don't mind"

(Mei softly laughs)

Mei-" Well I should get going"

(Mei starts to walk away from the door before she stops to tell Lynnon one more thing)

Mei-" Oh! And his name is Ezekiel by the way"

(Lynnon opens the door and looks back to give Mei a thumbs up. Lynnon goes upstairs to her room and immediately lays down on her bed and gets on her phone. She looks through her contacts and presses Nana. She facetimes him and he picks up after a few rings)

Nana-" You're awake? Isn't like one in the morning over there?"

(Lynnon laughs)

Lynnon-" Twelve actually"

Nana-" You need to sleep Lynnon"

Lynnon-" Ok DAD"

(Nana rolls his eyes)

Nana-" Is everything going good over there?"

Lynnon-" Yup! I just ate ramen with the team"

Nana-" That's good. I miss you..."

(Lynnon smiles)

Lynnon-" Same here but-"

(Lynnon goes out of frame. Nana listens as she rummages through one of her bags. She comes back into the frame holding a stuffed koala)

Lynnon-" I brought a friend"

Nana-" Oh my gosh. Is that the stuffed animal I gave you in like, 5th grade?"

Lynnon-" Sure is"

(Lynnon looks at the stuffed koala)

Lynnon-" I named him Phil"

(Nana starts to laugh and just like that, Lynnon's first night in Tokyo came to an end)
