Are you... jealous?

(Lynnon began laughing)

Lynnon-" Are you kidding?"

Hikaru-" No! She really did fall straight on her face. She had to get stitches under her chin"

(Hikaru chuckles)

Hikaru-" I felt bad but at that age, It was so funny"

Lynnon-" Heh. Ya know... I never would've thought that Fumiko was your cousin"

Hikaru-" A lot of people say that. Our personalities are uber opposite"

Lynnon-" You're so NICE and she's just... Fumiko"

Hikaru-" She rude if that's what you meant. I take no offense to it. I love her but she had it coming for people to dislike her"

Lynnon-" Mn"

(Lynnon takes another bit of Ramen)

Lynnon-" Are you sure you don't want to get anything?"

Hikaru-" I'm ok. I'm not hungry anyway. I'm fine just talking to you"

(Lynnon smiles)

Hikaru-" Is it good?"

Lynnon-" Mhm!"

Hikaru-" I'm glad. I didn't want you to be hungry"

(Lynnon looks over and sees Hikaru smiling softly at her. His silver earing matching nicely with his Nike, forest green sweatshirt. Lynnon turns back and looks down at the table with a mouth full of ramen. It comes to her that it was getting much later than when they left. She pulls out her phone and checks the time)

Lynnon-" Woah, it's really late. I should head home"

Hikaru-" Oh. Do you need a ride?"

Lynnon-" That would be appreciated"

Hikaru-" Ok"

(Hikaru ends up driving Lynnon to the apartment. He walks her up to the room and she begins to unlock the door. Someone's head turns back frantically. The door opens and Lynnon continues to talk to Hikaru)

Lynnon-" Yeah I won't be as good as you"

Hikaru-" I don't believe so. You're much better"

Lynnon-" No way!"

(Hikaru and Lynnon have a small laugh)

Lynnon-" Ok. I'll see you in class"

Hikaru-" Yeah. I'll see you"

(Lynnon smiles)

Hikaru-" Goodnight... sleep well"

(Lynnon does a small wave goodbye then slowly closes the door. Hikaru walks away from the door and out of the building)

Ezekiel-" So you finally want to come home?"

(Ezekiel walks up to her and crosses his arms)

Ezekiel-" Where the hell were you?!"

(Lynnon places down her board)

Lynnon-" Calm down. I had a tournament"

Ezekiel-" Bullshit! Tournaments don't last that long. WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU?!"

Lynnon-" Why are you getting so mad? I just went out to eat afterward?"

Ezekiel-" With who? Was it that person you were talking to just now?"

Lynnon-" Hikaru"

(That name only made Ezekiel madder)

Ezekiel-" Him?!"

(Ezekiel hits the door to the right of Lynnon's head. Suddenly Lynnon's eyes enlarge in fear. Ezekiel looks down)

Ezekiel-" To think I rushed here just for you! STAY AWAY FROM HIM! YOU HEAR ME?!"

Lynnon-" E-Ezekiel"

(Ezekiel looks back up and sees Lynnon with slightly teary eyes. He was surprised)

Ezekiel-" Don't-"

(Ezekiel sighs)

Ezekiel-" I'm sorry. Don't cry"

(Ezekiel hugs her with one arm)

Ezekiel-" I just- I've been waiting here for hours. I came so you wouldn't worry about me. I don't want you to worry"

Lynnon-" Why were you getting mad at me?"

(Lynnon sniffles)

Ezekiel-" I wasn't! I'm just, frustrated. I'd much rather you stay here with me than stay with a guy I barely know"

Lynnon-" So you were jealous?"

(Ezekiel becomes majorly flustered)

Ezekiel-" What- That's-"

(Ezekiel covers his red face with one hand, ending their hug)

Lynnon-" I was just joking..."

(Lynnon gently tugs on Ezekiel's shirt)

Lynnon-" I won't hang out with Hikaru anymore if you don't want me to..."

Ezekiel-" No. Hang out with whoever. I won't force you"

(Ezekiel peaks through his fingers at Lynnon. She was only looking at his torso)

Lynnon-" I'm tired"

Ezekiel-" Wa- Go to sleep"

(Lynnon grabs her board and walks off)

Lynnon-" Goodnight"
