44. Conflict With Astra Part 12

In front of Fritz was the ringleader of the Astra, Malkar City Branch, and, behind him was the right-hand man of Silverwar. Leaning on the wall, Dolor gave Fritz an entertained look.

"Ah! Sir Dolor! Chief! Help us! We were sliced into pieces but, we are still alive!" Cried the henchmen.

Dolor's gaze fell on the floor. "Oh, does that hurt?"

"It hurts, sir Dolor. Save us!"

Annoyed at the cryings of the small fries, Fritz paid them a swift action and finished them off. Their grumbled echoed as they coughed blood and their wounds splattered blood.

"Hoo! How cruel," the right-hand man said, laughing. "So, what should we do, Chief?"

"The kid will fetch a large sum of money. Our clients will surely buy him to be their plaything."

'Of course, I'd fetch quite the sum!'

"Then, I shall take it easy on him."

Dolor was three years older than Silverwar. They grew up in the same environment and has been comrade ever since after sharing a fight against other organization.

'I have the speed and the agility to move around this confined space with my small frame. And, if I add more speed to my movements, I might be able to finish the mage first. Okay, give me something good.'

"Seems like the brat is going to attack me." The three tensed up, wary of each other.

"Don't worry. I got your back."

Kicking off against the ground, Fritz dashed towards Silverwar, who's ready and waiting for him to attack, cast his magic.

<Fiery Fists>

Directing his skill towards the approaching Fritz, Silverwar controlled his magic like a homing missile that followed the brat after dodging it.

<Earth Spikes>

From below came out spiky rocks which almost impaled Fritz. He had jumped and attached his foot to the ceiling.

'Everything is turned upsidedown.'

"Oi, oi, how are you doing that kid?" Asked Dolor, activating his 'Earth Spikes' once more.

'Tch! The spikes kept appearing from the ground, the ceiling, and the walls! Plus, that homing-like magic is annoying too!'

Fritz tried cutting down the Fiery Fists, but unluckily, it was rigid to cut. He could only fend it off and change its direction for one second.

'What? The spikes are shrinking back to where they came from. Is that man able to control his magic, too?'

He noticed that after that second activation of Dolor's skill, the remnants of his skill dwindled.

"Fritz is in a pinch. Do you think he will win?" Asked Lily fearfully. She's not scared or worried about whether Fritz was in danger. She was worried because if Fritz loses, their only way out of the prison would diminish.

"What's there to worry about? Just be quiet and watch."

The Fiery Fists and the Earth Spikes lack the speed to control or manipulate. So, harming Fritz with their puny skill was low. Not unless his buff runs out and his MP drain.

'What?! Dolor used his skill to block my way and let the Fiery Fists catch up to me.'

One spike grazed his leg and, two fists flung him away. The force of the skill managed to break the Earth Spike that blocked off Fritz's path.

Grunting at the painful experience, Fritz coughed blood after having his chest suffered severe damage and his back hit against the prison bars.

'It is hot and, it hurts!'

"Oh, boy. He's down coughing blood after one hit."

"Dolor, quick! Tie him up and lock him in one of the cells!" Commanded Silverwar.

Dolor followed Silverwar's instructions right away. From leaning against the wall, he found a rope and began towards Fritz.

General Schalberg's connivances, the other guards arrived at the prison. There were ten of them that stormed inside the prison.

"We heard commotions from above, so we rushed here to see what is going on."

"The others went outside to see what happened to General Schalberg."

Dolor was halfway done tying Fritz when a sinisterly impending danger alerted his sixth sense saying, "DANGER!"

All people present inside the prison cell, and, the people above and outside the headquarters felt the threatening aura.

"F-Fritz!" Cried out Lily and Newt.

"Everyone! Get the hell out of here!"

Dolor motioned his accomplices to leave the prison room for something unprecedented would happen.

*Chop*

"Eh?" He witnessed his arm fell on the down. Blood splashed out of his wound and, suddenly, his head spin unwillingly. He then felt a prick on his chest. Thus he looked down and saw that a hand had pierced through him with his heart on Fritz's hand.

*Crush*

"Dolor!" Silverwar's deafening scream echoed throughout the prison room. "Bastard! I'll kill you!"
