Chapter 1: What the Hell

A boy was running in the forest, yelling for help at the top of his lungs. He is being chased down by a big bear looking beast around 3 meters high. Its fur has a metallic shine on it making it looks like have a good defense against weapons.

The bear is catching up to him, destroying everything in its path. Trees are destroyed left and right, rocks falling out everywhere, and some small animals are being trampled on. Still yelling for help, the boy is racking his brains out on how to escape on being a meal of this bear.

Luckily in the corner of his eye he saw a hole. It's big enough for a human to enter but small for the bear itself.

"Yes! Gonna get there fast before I'm shredded to pieces"

I dived into the hole. Seeing my success, I was going to celebrate my first escape from death in this New World. But before I can do that, I hit myself on the wall when I dive in and pass out.

While I'm losing my consciousness "How did I manage to get here? I was on my way on my first date with Class President. Goddamn it!. I spent 5 months courting her just to get her say yes to have a date with me, here I am transported in this world that I have no idea of. Oh I wish that this is like one of the novels I read, the one that the MC getting transported to another world with a heroine. Sadly, I'm all alone here."

Earlier…

"Yes! Woohooo! I need to be early today. God of whatever thank you for granting me this date with her." Getting prepared in front of the mirror while making sure that my getup won't make me look like an idiot. I closed the door of my unit and left the apartment complex I'm currently living at.

While walking on the sidewalk, I'm checking my looks on every shop window that I pass. Getting crazy and praying that please makes this a successful date for me because I'm noob at dating.

Class President saw me coming towards her and starting waving at me. "Wow! She really looks very pretty on that red dress." Still bathing in happiness, the happy smile I'm seeing changed immediately when I saw a shocked expression on her face while pointing behind me as if something terrible is coming.

She keeps pointing behind me and shouted "Run you idiot! Behind you!"

Here comes the idiot me that turned around and saw a freaking truck coming towards me with its two headlights shining brighter and brighter.

"Oh shit! Truck-kun is coming. Could've picked a different person to ram on. Goddamn Lucky Me! I'm the chosen and on my freaking first date. Curse you on whoever is doing this!! I'm supposed to have my date right now!! Why me?" Then I remember the novels I read that being rammed by Truck-kun will reincarnate me into a fantasy otherworld or something.

While accepting my fate on being rammed to death by Truck-kun, I felt that everything moved slowly. As my face kissing the face of the truck, my whole body zapped off into the sky while raising my middle finger on the truck and the driver. As I'm being zapped away I saw earth getting smaller and everything went black.

After God-who-knows-how-long I woke up at the sight of tall trees and the smell of earth. Its kind a dark with small amounts of light scattered around but still bright enough for a normal human eyes to see what's happening around.

"Uuuggggghhhhh!!.My head hurts. Goddamn it. Where the hell am I?"

Looking around while patting the dust off my pants, I saw a beast eating a carcass of a tiger looking beast. It looks like a bear with shining fur on it. It's the size of a bus but half if it's length. Nearly piss myself there when I realized it. Why you say? It's like 20 meters away from me and thank goodness I didn't shout that much or I'll be the delicious dessert of that bear.

Strangely, while looking at the bear, there's a pop-up box that appears on the left side of my vision showing the stats of the bear and the tiger.

Moves at a distance of 10 meter in any direction. Distance doubles at night.

Getting information on those two beasts, I sat down quietly to plan on how I should escape without making a noise. The first thing that came into my mind is to let the bear finish it's meal and leave after. The second is quietly leaving the place as the bear enjoys the meal.

After thinking it through I chose the first option since I don't want any unnecessary noise if I stepped something that will make noise.A whole 15 minutes has passed and the beat got up and getting ready to leave.

"Whew. I hope that this bear leave now so I can calm my nerves."

As I was saying this in my head Lady Luck strikes again. The goddamn bear is walking towards me.

"Should I run now or play dead? They say playing dead works but I will not risk it."

I immediately get up and ready myself to run. "Thank goodness I have a decent stamina. Maybe I can run long enough to find a cave or something to escape. Well I guess I'll leave it to Batman." and started to run as fast as I can. When the bear noticed it I also started yelling for help in case a person is nearby to help me.
