Skelengel; Tales Of The Boundless One [Not Updating]

When the universe creates a person, they are bestowed with certain traits that we, as mere humans, are aware of. Sportiness, the ability to work with computers, and creativity are all things we may obtain at creation. However, some of those talents extend far past the mortal realm of flesh and blood. They go all the way to your very soul, and these are the ones that we cannot see. These few are destined to become Boundless. And it just so happens that one was designated to die on the fateful day a new god took sight over the earth. This is the tale of Aaron Stone, the once businessman turned planetary traverser. Aided by himself and his potential, he plans to live out his life with peace of mind. However, the universe has it out for him, and it won't let him ever have true peace. However, someone from behind the shadows controls everything, and they have quite a distaste for Aaron Stone. They will try to make his life a living hell. Everything you read here is an account of something going on in the vast universe. Hell, who knows... It may even be YOU who takes his place in the future. [Chapter Length: Above 1k words] [Upload Time: Once a day, if I can. My life has gotten increasingly busy over the past year, so I may have to put novelwriting to the side for a bit. Affliction

'Hey! Calm down! Don't yell into my head like that!' Aaron screamed, as he held his non-physical head. 'You almost made my head explode!'

<Well, SORRY for not being able to contain my shock! YOU were the skeleton? How?! Every monster was killed in the battle! How did you survive?>

'Well, you'll see why and have the situation explained to you once I wake up, because then, the system can explain it in better detail.' Aaron answered, leaving his system to do it, simply because he believed that it could do it better. Well, he hoped it could anyway, Becaus eof not, he was kind of screwed, as then HE'D have to explain it, and he would probably make it confusing.

<You really rely on this 'System' person. It must be quite the useful tool to have with you at all times.>

'You have no idea, Yera. You have no idea.' Aaron ended, as a bright light began to fade in from his unconsciousness. The light grabbed him, and flung him out of his unconsciousness at high speed. What? Did you think it would be a calm little journey? Not at all. He was flung out there at around Mach 2 speeds, so, that's why people are dizzy after being unconscious.

Aaron was flung into his normal body, with his face up, as the mask lay upon his face. When did this get here? He sat up, and looked around, and saw Crystet sitting on his bed, his head towards the ground, with Ray nowhere to be seen. Crystet then looked up.

"Hey. You're finally awake." Crystet glumly said, seeming down, although Aaron didn't know what he was sad about.

"Yeah...did you look at my face?" Aaron asked, hazarding a guess. "No. I put your mask on from the side, with your head covered by your hood." Crystet replied, sullen. Aaron wondered what was wrong with him.

"You seem down, Crystet. What's the matter?" Aaron asked, innocently. Crystet looked up, and Aaron could see that his eyes were slightly black. Like black ink had started to crawl in from the edges. "This. My eyes are starting to turn black, Aaron, and I don't know why."

Aaron stood up, and put his hand on his mask. "You know, you might be suffering from something similar to me, although I don't know how. I'm not going to show you my face until we can confirm it's similar to my...abilities...but let's just say, you're gonna need a robe and a mask if you do." He calmly stated.

"So, going by what you just said, the stuff you said earlier about the metal claws were lies?" Crystet asked, chuckling. Aaron didn't understand what was so funny about this.

<Well, isn't this a little interesting piece of information about you, Aaron? You died by becoming too powerful? That's hilarious!>

'You do realise that this isn't really the best place to be talking about this? We got someone who might be afflicted with Corruption, like me. We have to see how this will turn out.' Aaron thought, directing that thought to the system and to Yera. It was strange having another voice in his head, but he'd get used to it.

[I am agreeing with Aaron on this one. Let's leave this until a later time. I have much more to inform you on.]

<Adios, Aaron!>

'Where did he learn THAT word?' Aaron asked himself. He then shook the thought out of his head, as he knew that there were more important things at hand.

"Well, might as well tell you that part. Yup. Complete lies. That's the natural way my fingers and toes are, which are quite useful little things, which I know I could use to climb walls, but, I can do something cooler than that, so, I'm just gonna show you that."

And with that, Aaron began floating into the air, using his Boundless Gravitational Manipulation, allowing him to fly.

"It's a cool little ability I have, part of that Ki Type I mentioned earlier. It allows me to mess with gravity, like this." Aaron explained, as Crystet looked on in shock. This was the power of the 'Unique Ki Type'? It surely wasn't something to be messed with.

"It also gave me my unique name. The Graviton Mage. That's the title I signed into the school with. Everyone was a unique code-name, so I have myself that one. What did you call yours?"

"Well...mine is unique, in that I didn't go with the 'master of' or 'lord of' style with my name. I went with 'Brionac' referencing a card in a game I like, although it's an obscure reference that you wouldn't get..." Crystet sheepishly stated. He didn't want to reveal much about his name, in case he got called a nerd. He was sensitive to that sort of stuff. Aaron actually thought about this one. Wasn't there a card like that in a game he liked back on Earth? It then hit him.

"Are you talking about 'Brionac, Dragon of The Ice Barrier'?" Aaron asked, happy to know such a reference. An audible gasp came out of Crystet's mouth. "You know about Yugioh aswell? How?"

'Well, I know from my last life. It was one of my favourite games to pass the time. What were my favourite decks again...?' Aaron thought to himself. He couldn't remember, but maybe he would while he talked with Crystet.

"Well, it is one of my favourite games! It's quite interesting to see how card effects will play out against one another. It's also fun to activate flip effects and destroy the oppositions board!" Aaron said, as a smirk grew in his face.

"Well, do you think you'd be able to beat my Sacred Beast deck? It's undefeated!" Crystet boastfully asked, pulling out a deck box from a bag which was lying on his bed. Aaron didn't notice that bag before.

"Well, we shall see, shan't we?" Aaron replied, making sure his mask was on his face properly.

'Hey system, would you mind recreating my best deck from when I was on earth, including the deck box and stuff? I want to see what this guy has in store for me.'

[Sure. I've got nothing else to do, since Yera is trying to process all the information I just gave him. Let me just recreate your Shaddol Deck real quick, covered with sleeves, and in a deck box. Simple enough to just make it from your memory, since we don't have to use any external skills to make NEW cards.]

In Aaron's hand, a black deck box appeared, as a smile appeared across his face. Time for a fun game of Yugioh. This was when Crystet said something he should have expected, but didn't.

"If you win, I'll give you fifty euros, but, if you lose, you have to take off your mask!" Crystet announced, as his face broke out in a smile. He really thought he could win.

Oh how wrong he would be.

Nothing will stop me from adding a yugioh battle lmao
