Travelling through Zane's Past

As Olivia finishes her monologue, Claire knew what Olivia's intentions came to fruition. She immediately went back to normal, back from the reality she was in. She somehow used Possession to understand the soul of their life turned out to be. She never would have thought that this ability would be this useful. This would be beneficial if used properly, as it can also alter it's memories by interfering with the user's actions. But Claire unintentionally went back since she doesn't fully know her true abilities was.

Since Claire used it already. She gained a bit of experience. She tried to go back and so a request appears to her choices

"What's this?" Claire wonders.

She has to make a decision and so she did. She picked the first option. Thus, she was sent back to Olivia's deepest parts of her memories. Many fragile but meaningful memories forgotten and remembered but it definitely stored deep enough so that she can one day face those memories ahead but one thing that made her unwavering commitment to living, is that her former Claire passed away saving her and Felia.

Claire witnesses Olivia's mournful expression as her grief inflated. Her extreme guilt pressures her to move on and live. She rather hates herself more than ever than following the footsteps of the future, she trembles in fear without her. Claire then reaches out on her as touching her shoulder, Olivia notices as everything else disappears, nothing but darkness is within theirs.

"Claire?"

"I'm here, Olivia." Claire caresses her hand to her cheeks as tears drips, embracing Olivia. Suddenly, the darkness dissolves into a beautiful broken down city filled with overgrown pretty plants and flowers, transparent water flows up stream as animals gather around as in the middle, Claire and Olivia were together.

"You saved me... Is this a dream?" Olivia falters as Claire gently tells her.

"I don't know." Claire then pinches Olivia's cheeks but felt nothing.

"It really is a dream."

"You need to face your fears, Olivia. Even without me, you need to be strong so that one day you can live without me."

"Why are you saying that you'll disappear one day?"

"As the heroine of the story, I might end up risking my life in the process so we wouldn't know. That's why I love you Olivia, you need to start loving yourself more than ever. You worry that you don't have colors within you. But you already had it since the beginning, in your heart. You just need to realize it sooner."

"I see... It all makes sense now." Claire wakes up and see Olivia smiling while sleeping as tears dripped in her cheeks. Claire knew she cured her trauma.

"That would have been my answer if I was to die one day."

Since discovering her abilities possession, the ability to travel through the memories and dreams of people by eye contact from the target, it observes and interferes with the target's nightmare and cures it depending on the user's capabilities. It can also gain information just by arriving beyond the mind of the target, revealing their true intentions from within their hearts.

Knowing such ability exists, she tries to use it on Zane as well. Experimenting on how would it turned out, surprisingly it became a perfect test subject for Claire to experience. And so, Zane's monologue begins.

Zane's POV begins

In an instant, I existed within those moments. Breathing normally while I check myself that I am living, it truly terrifies me and at the same time glad to be alive. Without knowing how the world would turned out, I was left with no other option but to figure the world out by myself. I was in some sort of a place filled with white coloured background, as everything appears to be white. I was confused on why this place exists and why I exist in this place. I investigate the situation. Suddenly many humanoid entities with their pale skin and malicious intent oozing throughout their expression. I had no choice but to kill them by self defense, I have to protect my own body against the place I was in. This place is horrifyingly dreadful.

I started walking from one pathway to another but they keep on chasing me and tried to stab me with their weapons as wearing their crazy ecstatic expression. I was disgusted by their behaviour and this time I just fled the scene where no one can find me. Not long enough, I realized I was already lost, walking aimlessly from the place I haven't heard or known. It was hard for me to deal with it, so I stopped and thought first. Then I heard two voices in my head. At first I was shocked by the sudden illness I had or more like an ability.

"Do you know who you are?" The female voice told me a question about myself as I quickly pondered, I am a male individual with no memories and lost within the unknown place. Then I heard a distant memory were another girl whom I don't remember started telling me a name.

"Zane..." I then murmured this name. This name... I slowly remembered. There was a certain someone, a girl perhaps, called me by this name. Now I remember.

"You are currently in the White Room, Zane. You must find a way out or they won't stop up until they find you and ultimately kill you on the process." I started putting a bit of faith to this female voice in my head.

"So he is the same as I did with Data-kun." Claire stated while watching the scene. She continues to watch.

I then stumbled upon with two troublesome entities. Two girls, which they are the age of teenagers. They both have the same pale facial features as the others. Furthermore, they showed their abilities and their identities.

"My name is Mary and this is Dale. What's your purpose here in the White Room?"

"The hell if I know. I don't recall being in this place and I don't know who I am. What I know is that this place is dangerous, considering how would I die in this state is undeniably possible, I would like you two to let me get out of this place." As I explained the situation I have to face the two humanoid entities, then someone calls and ordered me to be killed.

"I'm sorry but you are an intruder and must be executed as soon as possible."

"So peace was never an option." Without any other ways to avoid conflict, I have to improvise in order to live.

"Do you need help, brother?" one of the two voices reaches out to me.

"Who are you?"

"We don't have any options, brother. We have to split up and even the two enemies while we still have a chance."

"Alright. Come out then." I then pointed my left hand to the enemies as black liquid substance such as my blood drips as suddenly it forms into a humanoid form, having his own consciousness, he helps me from dealing with two enemies.

"Are you ready, brother?"

"Yes, let's start our battle." I lastly said it while the battle commences between two on two teams.

Zane's POV ends
