And so, in the notification icon, it has four new pieces of information.

"First intel, you have discovered half location of the 9th district and thus it will be available at your new device known as the map from the appraisal icon."

Data-kun ends the first intel.

"Quite useful," Claire replied.

"Second intel, I have gathered the chaser's identity, her name is F-18 from squad 146 also known as Felia Millers.

She is a 16-year-old failed cadet from his army that has poor performance for her shooting skills but has a great scouter towards any mission.

Data-kun ends his second intel.

"She had her first shot alright. Interesting, we'll get that later." Claire replies again.

"Third, I have gathered the situation of the upcoming week, within the 3rd day of the week, some student soldiers will be launched to find you.

It is only a matter of time before they capture you so better plan ahead."

Data-kun ends the third intel.

"Quite concerning. What's the last intel?"

Claire replies to his intel.

"And lastly, I have gathered your life expectancy. You will only have less than a week to survive the upcoming danger of the first stage."

As Data-kun informs Claire from the last intel, she felt fear of death since she experienced it firsthand, at the hands of the soldier named Felia Millers.

"So this is my current situation. Quite impossible for me to achieve. May I ask? What happens when I lose all my lives?"

Claire asks with concerns regarding the topic to Data-kun. He replies with a short sentence, "You'll die permanently."

After hearing that, Claire immensely felt an overload of fear and couldn't handle such responsibility, she vomits at the nearby trash bin trying to convey the situation that needs to face death by consciously saving her lives to avoid death.

As again seeing the three main choices, she notices her new skill was unlocked before she met her death.

Quickly checking it, she discovers a new skill called Annoyingly Lucky.

She smirks at her new skill, she tries a new path in mind, choosing the second option which is to find a place to stay while observing society.

Since that was her current job when she was a worker of SK Foundation.

She needs to abide by her job to know society even further.

"Seizing every opportunity I have, I need to in the least find any other easy ways to survive." Claire justified the last's attempt.

Strolling around the 8th district of the city, she seems a bit lost from the appraisal map which looked like a fog covering both front and sideways of the alleyway as she begins to gawk at the pathways, trying to explore the whole place.

She was unlucky to find a spot for her to stay, most of the buildings were restricted and abandoned.

She decides to go to the north pathway, encountering a bunch of underage children with white pale skin and horrible conditions such as heavy fatigue, fractured bones from the limbs, and deep wounds covered all over their bodies.

Grouped in one alleyway, Claire decides to walk past the sick children.

Seeing how they behave in such a concerning matter, most of them were trying to maintain their sanity from doing something they would regret later, continuous coughing and intense vomiting blood from a nearby trash bin, she witnesses such a travesty.

She hears a loud cry and looks where the wailing sound is, she sees a 7-year-old little boy binge eating his own big brother as crying from such suffering based on Claire's judgment.

She averted her eyes from such a gory scene, his big brother's limbs were missing while the little brother is forced to eat his internal organs.

Hearing the munching sound from afar, she had enough and started increasing her pace from walking and got stumbled by another sleeping child from the front.

She fell to the ground, seeing another little boy calmly staring at her closely.

Claire stands up and stares back at him.

Slowly, she comes closer and she noticed that the boy starts to twitch in his arms.

She stops halfway to thinking of a way to communicate to gather information but she also knows the risks when she is going to go through it, Data-kun gives him a thought,

"I suggest you give to the little boy of your three remaining hope pills to make him feel better."

Data-kun gives her advice as she was able to see a new light to work at.

She gives her one pill to the young boy and thus, the child seems not to get any better.

It looks like she halfway failed to case her ability.

But he seems to be able to speak as she witnesses him trying.

"Mi..misss…."

Claire was quite touched that he was the first non-hostile character to converse with.

"Do you understand me, little boy?"

Claire tries to understand his conditions.

"Yess… I am quite… better… thanks to you."

He is still a bit tired, based on his sudden faint. Claire starts to carry him from behind while strolling to another unknown pathway to familiarize herself with the appraisal map.

Unable to find any shelter to stay in, daytime is almost at its peak thus the darkness of the night begins.

The clouds still cover the clouds so it was hard for Claire to realize it was nighttime, so she stops her exploration by taking a sleep in the secluded alleyway, where she is afar from the nightmarish acts of the children she had witnessed.

She rummages tattered cardboard boxes in the large trash bin, tidying it in a relaxing posture to sleep in.

Though she isn't the one who will sleep there but the child. As the little boy sleeps alongside Claire, she deeply thought,

"Am I a shotacon if I do something lewd to this kid tonight?"

Another weird thought has processed to her mind to distract her from a long time of night. Not long enough, she also takes a nap.

It was 5:09 am and she is waking up from the call of the little boy, "Miss…."

A long blurry vision in her eyesight due to sleeping, and so she rubs it off from her wrist.

She closely sees the little boy behaving like a normal kid but his appearance hasn't changed at all. It seems he is better, and because of it, she is glad.

She decides to pat the little child and tell him, "Sorry but I have to do something since I have little time."

The boy was quite sad for a moment but he fully understands so he nods while taking his gratitude to Claire.

While she casually walks far away from the little boy, the little boy stares behind her and forgets something important so he rushes back and hugs her tightly.

Claire was surprised by him and so he asked, "I haven't know your name." Claire replies to his seeking answer,

"My name is Claire Valentine. How about you?"

The boy ponders a bit but utterly forgets.

"It seems I don't have one or forgot about it."

Claire suggests a name for him,

"How about Tim?"

The boy named Tim was so very happy, he hugs her tightly as saying goodbye to her.
