Six of Crows: The Inquisitor's Tale

There is no reason to reason. Volume 1 is Demon Slayer (16 chapters - Finished) Volume 2 is Six of Crows (~30 chapters) Volume 3 is Harry Potter (~150 chapters) Volume 4 is Seven Realms (~60 chapters) Volume 5 is MCU (~150 chapters) Volume 6 is ??? He is allowed to take 1-2 people with him through each transmigration. Updates every other day. No set chapter lengths (Although all chaps have at least 1000 words). Just fulfillment. Also, another disclaimer cause a lot of people asked, the MC has Dissociative Identity Disorder, so, don't read it if this is not to your liking. Note: I don't own any of the characters that don't belong to me.

Final Selection - 6

A/N: For some reason, I put "No Harem" in the synopsis, but, no, this WILL BE a harem (so I've removed it), so, all you harem haters, if you want to read a no harem, then go to one of my other books. This fan-fic is definitely going to be a harem.

Standing in the purple glow of the Wisteria trees, I couldn't help but size up everyone that was already here.

Seeing the nervous Zenitsu, along with the elegant Kanao, and the rash Genya, I could finally figure out which part of the plot I was in.

To be honest, I hadn't expected to be involved in the main storyline this early on, but, I could only look at this as a pleasant development, as, if these people were here, that meant that I could easily kill Tanjiro when he came.

'But wait, judging by the timing factor and everything else... Was I fed one of Tanjiro's siblings as my first meal as a demon?'

I quickly dismissed this thought though, as there was no way such a coincidence could happen.

After all, Muzan could have raided any other home to get that slab of meat that I had eaten, it definitely didn't have to be the Kamado Family's...

Yeah, I probably ate a part of one of his siblings as my first meal.

(A/N: Honestly thought somebody would figure this out from my hints in the previous chapters, but nobody did, so, I'm just gonna say it out loud here.)

Finally, after some time, I saw Tanjiro arrive, but, for some reason, he arrived with another person next to him, a girl to be exact...

The girl kept her mask on the whole time, but... There was definitely something familiar about her.

'N-n-no... it can't be!'

I realized who the person standing next to Tanjiro was.

'W-why are you here, Yasu?'

But now, everything clicked into place.

My mind finally filled in all the gaps of what had happened during these past few years.

After I had left, she had probably been recruited by Giyu, and then straight afterwards, after Muzan killed the Kamado Family, Tanjiro had been recruited.

Both of them had probably been sent to Urokodaki, and had endured his hellish training.

Knowing my sister, and how she had suffered to bouts of trauma due to demons now, she definitely sliced the boulder in half before Tanjiro, but had waited for him.

And this could only mean one thing.

Tanjiro was at least considered a friend of hers, maybe even a close one.

So, if this was true, then I had to throw Option 1 out of the window.

I couldn't afford to make my sister even sadder and more depressed.

I had put her through enough.

It was time for me to start giving back.

With Option 1 out, I now had to focus on Options 2 and 3.

'I guess I'll have to stay a little bit longer in this world...'

The two "dolls" announced the start of the Final Selection.

Running as fast as I could, I sped away from the other participants.

'I'm sorry Yasu, but it isn't time for us to meet yet.'

Now, all I had to do was survive 7 days.

...

Seven Days Later:

My kimono still pristine as ever, I walked out of the final selection with an indifferent look on my face.

Over the course of the past few days, I had killed some demons, whilst also watching Tanjiro and Yasu a few times, checking to see if their strengths were on par with my expectations.

I had even watched their fight with the "hand" demon, and this time, unlike in the anime, Tanjiro and Yasu easily defeated it by working together.

I was actually pretty proud of Yasu, as she was finally strong enough to stand up for herself now because, after the first "accident" she had become pretty reliant on me.

'Yasu, it's nice to see that you've grown up.'

With that final thought, I had flickered away.

Back to the present, I was currently passing under the Wisteria Trees, walking to the place that we would choose our nichirin ores.

Now, if you were wondering how a demon like me could even stand the presence of Wisteria, well, it was due to my blood demon arts.

You see, my blood demon arts were based off of one simple idea, "Tranquility".

As I was the demon that embodied "Tranquility", naturally, I was absent of the fear for Wisteria.

Even under the sun, my "Tranquility" would protect me, and, although Muzan was surprised by this at first, he accepted the fact, and didn't do any weird experiments on me.

This same "Tranquility" also shadowed me from the senses of others, as, only if I let somebody see me, could they actually see me.

When trying to detect me through their senses of smell or hearing, all they would "see" was an empty void, well, actually, something more like a calm ocean of nothingness.

Getting out of my thoughts, I finally arrived at the place where all the other new demon slayers stood.

Being the last one to arrive, I was met with many pairs of eyes, all sizing me up.

If you were wondering why Yasu didn't recognize me, well, it was due to the fact that a black mask was covering the bottom half of my face.

"Congratulations."

"First, we shall issue you all uniforms."

"We will take your measurements, after which your rank will be engraved."

"Clap Clap!"

I watched as 6 crows descended from the skies.

"Kasugai Crows?" Asked Tanjiro.

The two "dolls" went on to explain what the crows were for.

Then, Genya's outburst happened, but I really didn't pay much attention to it.

Finally, the part that I was waiting for came along.

"Now then, please select an ore."

"The steel for the sword that will annihilate demons and protect you will be of your own choosing."

Quickly walking up to the table, I inspected the ores.

Quickly choosing the ore that I thought would be the best fit for a chokuto, I finalized my choice.

I then requested for mine to be made into a chokuto instead of a regular katana, and they said it was possible.

Feeling happy, I departed with my crow on my shoulder, leaving the rest of the newly minted demon slayers in the dust.

Thanks for reading!
