73 73. Frustrating of Diego

The first tears in Diego's life. This is the first time Diego has cried, even when his parents died, the man did not shed a single tear.

 Seeing Diego's tears made Elena's heart stop for a second then beat rapidly.

 "Darl." Elena reached out her hand about to touch Diego's face.

 "Please leave me alone, Elena." Diego's words stopped Elena's hand. With an unreadable gaze, Elena withdrew her hand.

 Elena studied the look on Diego's face. The man was silent and did not say anything else to her. A feeling of tightness squeezes Elena's chest, but she knows Diego needs time to accept this fact. Letting out a long breath Elena stood up. Stared at Diego for a few more seconds before turning away. Leaving Diego who was lost in his thoughts.
