Mission Progress

That day's lesson was about different places. Dean Liana was an avid environmentalist, and her elementary school definitely had such subjects in their curriculum.

For Naia's lesson, she went to the basics. For example, recycling and the importance of segregating trash.

She showed various images like melting ice caps and landfills, and finally trash floating on the sea.

What made everything impactful was the dean's passionate soliloquy, emphasizing the effects on wildlife and ecosystem.

"Ah, that!"

There were pictures of dolphins and turtles dead or dying and she stood up, "Save them!"

"They're gone… and there are so many more…" the dean sighed, unable to stop herself.

But when Naia realized she couldn't save the critters, she sobbed.

"Oh no…" the dean mumbled, "I'm sorry." she looked nervously at the girl.

She was told to be a bit too passionate issue, but she didn't mean to break someone!
