They took a cab and got past the city proper, heading towards less developed areas. Leon sighed. He knew he shouldn't be bringing strangers into the house, but he always felt she was harmless.
Also, he didn't want her to suffer outside.
Leon couldn't help but look at the woman beside him. She was still holding his hand and leaning on his shoulder, appearing very peaceful.
She was really so beautiful, he noted as he traced her face. Her facial features were extremely delicate and pretty, her blue eyes were in a shade he had never seen before, and her beautiful ebony hair wrapped around her like the smoothest seaweed.
He would see the driver peek at them often, and they almost bumped into a bollard once. His eyes twitched every time he met the poor driver's eyes that were peaking through the rear view mirror.
Fortunately, he only did so during traffic lights or pauses, otherwise he'd have carried Naia away from the unsafe cab…
