Wait and Watch

After having a detailed chat with Queen Norma and then a long promised dinner together, Eric came back to his room only to find a sleeping Aurora on his bed. Beside all the other things one more ability which he had gained over time was the potential to hear even the smallest of sounds around him. He could hear her little heart thumping loudly from across the room and a small smile blossomed over his lips.

She was definitely not asleep.

Slowly he marched over towards her and the way her heart picked up pace was enough to confirm that she indeed wasn't asleep but merely feigning to be. Her food was kept untouched in a tray upon the side table of the bed.

"I know you aren't sleeping. Get up and finish your food." He stood right above her head as he placed both hands on the sides of his torso.

Aurora didn't budge from her spot but grabbed the sheets harder which created visible spirals above the silk fabric.
