"Now get out of my way without creating any fuss."

With that being said he pulled Aurora's arm, dragging her in front of him as he took out the dagger that had been resting in the belt around his thigh all this time. He placed the dagger right above Aurora's throat and that was when gasps and screams were heard. Seeing him in action, Victor also took out the small gun from his pocket, backing him up.

"Don't…" Xobaria shot her hands up instantly. She hadn't understood his statement earlier but his actions made it clear. He wasn't going to get married. He never planned to! However she hadn't seen this coming so she wasn't prepared for this.

"You thought I would dance on your fingers like a puppet?" He slowly started walking forward with Aurora's back still pressed against his chest whilst he held her waist and arms beneath his one arm.

"But the thing is, I don't do what's told. I tell what has to be done. However, it was quite nice that you brought what I required on a plate. I didn't have to waste my energy." He had reached the middle of the aisle. Victor's back was pressed against Eric's as he walked along him, aiming his gun all around.

"Don't hurt her." Xobaria insisted, trying to take a few steps towards them.

"Don't even think about it or you'll lose your daughter." He warned, threatening her to stay still. "I only need her blood anyways and that I will take with or without her."

Aurora wanted to struggle but hearing him say that, her body went weak and jittery. Would he be so cruel to kill her just for the sake of little blood? What would he do with her blood? She thought and the next moment her hatred for the humans strengthened even more so. She burst into tears.

His grip was hurting her.

The edge of that sharp balde had penetrated through the thin fabric of the veil and now it was in direct contact with her skin.

She was suffocating.

Mother was always right.

Then why she pulled her in all of this?

"What do you want?" Xobaria asked even though she knew what he wanted.

"Tell your pets to back off. I don't want any bloodshed. You will open the doors and we will reach our boat, without any interruption." He demanded.

The Sirens have grown their claws and fangs out waiting for Xobaria's permission to attack but it never came. She accepted what Eric said without any protest and that baffled them. What in the world was going on?

"They will stay here," He glanced at the others and then turned towards her. "And you shall accompany us on the way. I don't want to get bored." He gave her a bright smile.

It happened as he had asked for it and soon they were on the edge of the island, standing before the boat. Eric hadn't let go of Aurora and Xobaria had been walking ahead of them just as he wanted. Once they took out the anchor and Victor had jumped in, Eric turned to her and said, "I shouldn't be a brat and say thank you but I won't. Your daughter will be coming with me."

"No I won't, let go of me." Despite the dagger still being on her throat, Aurora had finally started struggling against him.

Death would be better than going with him. She thought that he was doing all of that to get out of here safely but she hadn't expected him to take her with him. When it was about marriage it was another thing but now he was basically kidnapping her. If he doesn't want to marry her then why take her with him? What did he even want from her?

"Whoa whoa, easy there princess." Eric jerked her in place, pulling her up from the ground without any difficulty. Now all she could do was to kick him and wiggle her legs.

Xobaria haven't reacted yet when all of a sudden someone came flying out of the herd of bushes a little away from them and lunged on Eric from behind.

"Let go of her!"

At the same a gunshot was heard.
