Upon Giancarlo's reminder, Jazmine finally noticed the sunset outside.
The sky seemed to be set ablaze, with layers of deep orange clouds right above her head. The no longer dazzling sunset streamed through the glass roof, casting its glow upon her.
It's very warm.
Giancarlo looked at the woman in front of him, her smile warm and relaxed. He couldn't remember the last time he had seen her so at ease, her laughter so genuine and content.
It was only at this moment that he realized how much he had missed her like this.
He said, "Sorry."
The apology slipped out without him even thinking about it. Every time he saw her, he wanted to apologize. Each time, he would start to say sorry but then didn't know how to continue.
In order not to fail again, he spoke more quickly: "I have a thousand, ten thousand apologies to say to you."
