Singularity: Lord of Mysteries

Members of the Aurora Order had brutally murdered Max, a child of the age of 15. In the body of this unfortunate child, enters the memories of Samuel, a not-so-innocent person in his previous life, whose life choices finally caught up to him one day and ended up killing him. However, he is reincarnated in the world of Lord of Mysteries, a horrifyingly tragic world where humans struggle against inevitable monsters of epic proportions by gaining Beyonder powers that ultimately either end up consuming them and causing them to lose control, or become strong enough that the will or the original creator takes over their souls. In this world of steam and machinery headed towards a prophesied apocalypse, armed with a Pathway that did not exist in the fictional novel, that will either lead to his ascension or his demise, Max must strive to survive and save the world... or would he? ---------- P.S. This is my first Fan-fic so go easy on me and give me pointers. Positive criticism is welcomed. If you don't like it or the writing is terrible, Ok. Just leave and don't rub it in my face T-T Anyway, I will post chapters hopefully daily, and I hope you guys help with the creation process of the novel. compared to my other novels, I will be writing this one with no fixed story in mind, so I will depend on you guys to give me pointers on what should come next. As of now, I have only written 2 chapters and will try to write one a day and keep up the upload schedule. Note: I had read the novel quite some time ago, and I do not wish to read 1400 chapters of something I have already read. So I went to the wiki and read through the summaries, and got the just of at least the Tingen Plot. Unfortunately, I do not want our first arc to be in Tingen for obvious reasons; Adam. Also, for those thinking his pathway is super overpowered after reading the first chapter, be warned that despite this, as long as he does not reach the highest Sequence and beyond, he is still too weak to survive in this chaotic world. Also, anything powerful comes at a cost, and you will see the cost when he tries to become a Beyonder. Anyway, I hope everyone likes the story and please comment and leave a review so I know where to fix the the fan fic.

Luke of the Spectrum

Luke opened his eyes and observed his surroundings groggily with a pain in his head. Taking a few seconds to gather himself, he noticed his surroundings more clearly as his vision became focussed. He found himself in what could only be called a dilapidated ruin…

'Chip, where am I? How long as passed since… the explosion?'

[Assessing situation…]

[Location unknown, time unknown]

'Real helpful… as always… At least I know there is not connection to the Quantum network here.'

[Detecting information integration… Do you wish to accept?]

'Huh? No! Of course not! It's most likely some virus to destroy me. Store it in an isolated location away from all other data of yours, with only access directly to my eyes in the form of images.'

[Negative Host. No other information exists]

'Huh? The f*ck do you mean?'

[Repeat with detail. No information exists within the memory storage other than the information integration request.]

'So somebody already wiped everything from your database… alright, let's see what the information integration is.'

[Affirmative. Displaying the first information integration]

Then, as though a movie from a first-person point of view was playing, and the longer it played, the more shocked Luke became. This was the story of a child, in a world that seemed to be incredibly devolved in terms of technological advances. World of all, the child died at the end from having his crushed under a falling building.

Turning around, Luke noticed the building rubble behind him, as well as a lot of blood below it, partially hidden by the powdered cement and other items but still visible.

Raising his hands to his head, he noticed there were no issues other than his skin feeling really soft and slightly wet.

'Chip, give me the next information integration.'

[Affirmative]

The next information was not something grand like the previous almost movie-like scenario, and instead only contained text.

'What in the world is any of this supposed to mean? That's an Outer God? What's a pathway? What is a Sequence? Chip, got anything?'

[Negative Host. All information from the database has been cleared. Currently, it is impossible to make deductions]

'Oh, yeah. Chip, scan my memories and add everything to your Database. Also, use that information to deduce any and all information you can. Do it quickly while I figure out my situation. Take up 95% of processing power.'

[Affirmative]

Luke stood up and looked around, only to stumble after missing his step. Looking down, he realised two things. His skin was a lot darker than it was before the explosion. And secondly, his legs were insanely short.

Looking at his own hands, they too looked really short. Then, a realisation came to him. He had died in the Great explosion. It took most of the city with him, but he had most likely died.

But then what about the Chip?

'Hey Chip, are you still present in my brain or somewhere else?' Luke was not sure if this was one of those ancient reincarnation novels where the chip would be attached to his soul and not his physical body. That would be pretty cool.

[Affirmative Host. The AX25 Bionic Chip is still implanted in your brain. Host, it has been deduced that this is not your body, and yet you have been recognised as the host, while a physical Chip is implanted in your brain]

'A shame… anyways, what is the progress on the task I gave you?'

[40% completed. 24 seconds remaining for the copying of memories, Host.]

'Perfect. Make sure to begin deductions as soon as possible.'
