Members of the Aurora Order had brutally murdered Max, a child of the age of 15. In the body of this unfortunate child, enters the memories of Samuel, a not-so-innocent person in his previous life, whose life choices finally caught up to him one day and ended up killing him. However, he is reincarnated in the world of Lord of Mysteries, a horrifyingly tragic world where humans struggle against inevitable monsters of epic proportions by gaining Beyonder powers that ultimately either end up consuming them and causing them to lose control, or become strong enough that the will or the original creator takes over their souls. In this world of steam and machinery headed towards a prophesied apocalypse, armed with a Pathway that did not exist in the fictional novel, that will either lead to his ascension or his demise, Max must strive to survive and save the world... or would he? ---------- P.S. This is my first Fan-fic so go easy on me and give me pointers. Positive criticism is welcomed. If you don't like it or the writing is terrible, Ok. Just leave and don't rub it in my face T-T Anyway, I will post chapters hopefully daily, and I hope you guys help with the creation process of the novel. compared to my other novels, I will be writing this one with no fixed story in mind, so I will depend on you guys to give me pointers on what should come next. As of now, I have only written 2 chapters and will try to write one a day and keep up the upload schedule. Note: I had read the novel quite some time ago, and I do not wish to read 1400 chapters of something I have already read. So I went to the wiki and read through the summaries, and got the just of at least the Tingen Plot. Unfortunately, I do not want our first arc to be in Tingen for obvious reasons; Adam. Also, for those thinking his pathway is super overpowered after reading the first chapter, be warned that despite this, as long as he does not reach the highest Sequence and beyond, he is still too weak to survive in this chaotic world. Also, anything powerful comes at a cost, and you will see the cost when he tries to become a Beyonder. Anyway, I hope everyone likes the story and please comment and leave a review so I know where to fix the the fan fic.

It was late in the evening and Klein was preparing to eat his dinner after a long day acting as the detective Sherlock Moriarty.
With a plate of hot food freshly prepared by him, specifically for himself, Klein placed a napkin on his legs and picked up the cutlery on the table.
*Knock* *Knock*
The door was knocked. It was almost as if the person who had come had specifically chosen this time to interrupt Klein's meal.
Graining internally, Klein stood up and put away his napkin to not seem rude to the outsider, before heading to his door.
"Hello! Mr. World, good to see you no longer have the ghost following you around everywhere."
"…" Klein was at a loss, but Max just shoved him aside and entered the room with a wide grin on his face. He then turned to Klein, before waving his hand and causing the door to close on its own.
"Let's get down to business. I do not have a long time. I need you to conduct a lot of divinations in a short period of time, especially by using the 'mysterious space above the grey fog' as you call it. It will be my payment for the potion ingredients you want to advance to Magician."
"And before you ask how I know so many things, it does not matter, I know a lot of things, things that someone as weak as me should not possibly know, at the very least, I should not be sane. But here I am… so, get on with it. Here is a list of things you need to divine. And Here are the two ingredients I promised," Max placed two jars filled with two completely different kinds of items, as well as a parchment with a dozen or so items listed on it.
Klein scrutinised Max's face before nodding. He took four steps and entered the space above the grey fog, but made sure to also bring Max with him, to prevent the fellow from doing anything untoward to his unconscious body.
He conducted three dream divinations and got the results Max wanted, but on the fourth one, he was corrupted by Unity, and Max just grinned as he sent the Unity energy to the crack on the real Sefirah Castle, increasing its size and his control over the Sefirot.
Klein took a while to recollect himself and explain what he saw to Max, before continuing. He had realised that the power that was almost throwing him into the territory of losing control was somehow able to be controlled by Max.
'Perhaps, this is something that originated from Max himself, and only affects those who are prying into his secrets of his fate?' Klein came to a conclusion he did not like, as he still had a long list of Dream divinations to complete.
Sighing, he got to it, and once again, he was corrupted. The process repeated until Klein could no longer safely conduct Dream divinations.
"Alright, I will leave the ingredients here. Bring me to the grey fog when you are more collected and ready to conduct the remaining three divinations. I must inform you not to conduct the divinations without me present. Alright, thanks Mr. Fool." Max shook Kleins frail hand and walked towards the door.
Klein, whose rapid breathing was already slowing down turned to Max's back and used Spirit Vision on him.
But right at that moment, Max suddenly vanished from his view and Max also felt that his ability to [Fool] Beyonder abilities, was activated. He instantly became on guard and felt how much of his Spirituality was being used.
It was not much, which meant it was a weak Beyonder, at the most, the same Sequence as himself. Then a thought came to mind and he turned to Klein and noticed he had activated his Spirit vision.
'What a nosey fellow.'
Max grunted, turned to the door, and just blasted it off its hinges before leaving a stunned Klein who had returned to normal vision and noticed a gloating Max merrily skipping away into the distance.
[AN: Kekeke, the one chapter I really liked in this novel, an action chapter after a really long time, is going to be coming up in a few chaps, I hope everyone likes it. And also, it is not some long-drawn-out battle, just a single chapter. in fact, slightly less than a chapter, but I really put a lot of emotions into that chapter.]
