Its head finally emerged from the ground, having long white fur, and its red eyes glared towards the flying Yun Che and Qingyue. It knew they had stolen the lotus, so its whole killing intent was directed towards them, making Qingyue feel like she was thrown into an icy cave.

She looked towards Yun Che and hurriedly said, "Yun Che, throw away the lotus! Or the beast will keep chasing us!"

"No!" he vehemently denied, much to Qingyue's astonishment. "If I throw it away, how will you become stronger faster? Don't you want to meet your mother? To do that, the first thing you need to do is to become strong enough to leave this star realm! Qingyue, this lotus might be your chance to speed up your cultivation and meet your mother. "You..." Yun Che looked at her with a shocked expression, not believing what she called him. But he didn't have time to say anything when the beast behind them suddenly attacked!

A terrifying force erupted from the beast, traveling towards them.

Even when they had been swallowed and were falling into the bottomless pit of the beast, Yun Che still tightly hugged Qingyue as if protecting her from any harm that might come their way.

Seeing this, Yun Che softly smiled.

"Kiss me…"

For a second, Qingyue's mind went blank. But then, as if coming to a decision, she bent down and closed her eyes. Her lustrous hair fell around Yun Che and her face leaned towards his.

A second later, her plump cherry lips fell onto his, sealing them! She didn't know how to kiss or what to do from there, so she stayed like that, with their lips touching each other, for some time.

Suddenly, she felt a soft suction of her profound energy and felt it being absorbed into Yun Che's body through their sealed lips.

Thinking he might be using her profound energy to heal his injuries, Qingyue didn't dare to separate her lips from his. Instead, her hand circled around his and further pushed his head to make sure the contact was not broken even for a second.
