Chapter: 33
Still weirded out from the previous encounter, Yun Che walked into the restaurant and ate the food.
Despite feeling hungry and the food being quite tasty, Yun Che, for some reason, couldn't forget the encounter with the two girls he had before.
Since that moment, he had this explicit annoyance in his heart which made him feel irritated.
'No matter what, I just cannot remove this weird feeling in my heart. Just what is going on? Did I miss something?'
Still confused, he finished his food before leaving the restaurant.
He thought he should go back and take a nice warm bath to relax himself. Maybe after the bath, he would start to feel good.
Entering his room and taking off his robes, he entered the bath. Good thing he didn't need to warm water. He could use his phoenix flames to warm it instead.
'How versatile.'
Entering the bath and feeling the warmth of the water seeping into his body, he couldn't help but release an extended sigh from his mouth.
It felt good. Really good. Too good that Yun Che felt like sleeping.
Time passed, and the steam from the water filled the bathroom.
No sound could be heard inside but the occasional drop of water in the pool below.
Suddenly, the temperature seemed to drop in the room without anyone noticing.
Well, the only person who should have noticed was asleep in the hot bath.
Still, the drop in temperature didn't miss his enhanced senses as his eyes shot open.
With a simple motion, and in a second, he was already dressed and stood alert.
His eyes scanned the room for any possible attacker before going towards the map.
Seeing the map, his body relaxed.
It didn't show a single red mark around him, which means there was no enemy near him. But the drop in temperature was definitely not normal.
'Is it…' The sudden knock on the door pulled his attention towards it.
Frowning, he walked towards it and opened it.
His movement halted midway as the visage of the person on the other side became apparent.
A woman with an otherworldly temperament stood there.
She wore an icy attire, barely hiding her extremely soul clenching figure.
A silk icy veil hiding her face, only revealing her cold beautiful eyes.
Though he couldn't see her face, Yun Che knew that she was an absolute beauty to behold.
The woman had her crescent brow creased the moment it laid on him, making him raise a brow.
Suddenly, he seemed to have an epiphany.
The world seemed much clearer than before as Yun Che tightly punched the wall beside him and loudly said, "So it was her!"
He finally realized why he felt annoyed when curing the woman from before, and who this woman in front of him was!
From what he remembered, in the original, Yun Che cured a woman called Chu Yuechan from an ice poison while he was staying in Blue Wind Profound Palace. Later, this woman became the mother of his first child, aka power bank.
Since he had no idea about the timeline in which he was, nor did he remember much of the original, Yun Che had completely forgotten about her.
Then, why did she suddenly appear in front of his doorstep? The answer was simple!
'It's that fate-chan bitch! She seriously orchestrated all this! Me saying those women were also a part of her plan. If I'm not wrong, Chu Yuechan must have heard rumors or directly from those women that I healed ice poison for them. And since she was also poisoned the same way, she decided to give me a visit in the hope of getting it cured! Dammit! Now I understand why I felt like slapping that woman! Clicking his tongue in annoyance that he was playing a second time, he looked back at the woman at his doorstep.

After another extended silence of both of them staring at each other, at one point Yun Che even started to take her challenge seriously and didn't even blink, Yuechan finally parted her lips.
"I heard that you can cure ice poison caused by profound beasts."
'Now then, how should I play this? Hmm. Let's see, since fate-chan wants to throw all these women at me, who am I to deny it? Might as well go for it. I'm not really losing anything. Also, if the plot really cannot be changed, then the chances are high that I'll be ambushed in two months' time. Getting something emotional out of him, without his permission, was impossible at this point.
"You are poisoned," he stated. "I can indeed heal you, but it depends on whether you are willing to follow my conditions. If you can fulfill three of my conditions, I will heal the poison for you. Of course, you can deny it if you want. In return, I'll ask for another one. We can keep going until you accept it."
Yun Che saw her brows creasing and the cold aura around her intensifying.
She was definitely considering making Yun Che heal her by using force, but the aura around her suddenly vanished, making Yun Che sigh internally.
'Thankfully, she ain't that dumb. If she really decided to go forcefully, it wouldn't have ended well for... well, both of us.'
