"Yuanba, what are you doing here? When did you leave the Floating Cloud City?"

"After… you and sister left, father asked a friend of his to make me a disciple of New Moon Profound Palace. After that, I was brought to Blue Wind Profound Palace by Elder Wuyou!"

Suddenly, Yuanba's eyes widened as he exclaimed.

"Brother-in-law, you can cultivate now!"

"Ah, well, yeah. A lot of stuff happened and one thing led to another." Yun Che vaguely replied, too lazy to explain anything to him.

"It's good then." Yuanba, on the other hand, was full of smiles. "I knew brother-in-law was heaven's chosen! Even my sister was smitten by you!"

Yun Che rolled his eyes.

"Please. Both of us know the truth, no need to sugar coat your words."

"Hehehehe…" Yuanba silly laughed before his eyes landed on Cang Yue. They widened in shock as he asked. "Sister Xueruo? You are also here?"

Hearing Yuanba, Cang Yue gave a weak nod in return.

Of course, Cang Yue's state didn't pass unnoticed within Yun Che's eyes.

He frowned slightly wondering what made her mood so shit all of sudden when it hit him.

'It was you, you simp for Yun Che!' He screamed and looked towards Yuanba. He couldn't help but curse him and wondered what fascination Yuanba had for calling him brother-in-law.

'I should talk with her later.'

Seeing people around, he knew right now wasn't the time to talk about such matters. He decided to talk later with her.

"Brother-in-law, are you also here for the Entrance Examination?"

Yun Che's eyes suddenly shone as he smiled.

"Yes. I have promised someone important to me that I'll join Blue Wind Profound Palace." He answered, giving Cang Yue a sidelong glance.

Cang Yue's eyes widened hearing Yun Che calling her an important person to him. Suddenly, a soft blush appeared over her face and the pain in her heart seemed to be subsidized by a lot. Though she dodged Yun Che's gaze, still not willing to meet it.

'This playboy… I should inform His Highness about him!' Wuyou, who felt like he had eaten salt, thought internally.

"That's great then! I'm sure you will pass the exam easily."

"We should go then." Wuyou interjected. "Talk can come later. We might miss the exam at this rate."

"You are right, Elder Wuyou." Yun Che nodded before he looked towards Cang Yue. "Sister Xueruo, are you coming with us?"

Knowing she was hiding her identity, Yun Che also didn't say her real name out loud.

Cang Yue caught what Yun Che was doing but she shook her head regretfully.

"I have somewhere to go. Brother Yun should go first. I'll meet Brother Yun at a later time."

"... Alright."

But before they could move on, another male's voice resounded. Everyone looked towards the entrance of the new person.

A man wearing white robes appeared. He was tall and handsome. His facial features were extremely elegant, making one wonder if he was from some high class family.

"Sister Xueruo!" He exclaimed happily, like a puppy who found its master, and hurriedly made his way towards Cang Yue. "Sister Xueruo, you suddenly vanished from the New Moon Palace! This Ye was worried about you! I could barely sleep at night knowing that something might have happened to you."

"..."

Yun Che and Wuyou stared at the person called Murong Ye with a blank gaze. They couldn't believe that there was someone who would use such lines. It almost made them feel physically cringe from it.

Cang Yue suddenly had an expression of displeasure appear over her face. Obviously, she didn't enjoy Murong Ye's presence at all. Her feelings were already in turmoil, so with the presence of Murong Ye, she was on the edge of slapping his face and leaving to meet her royal father.

"Brother Murong, if there is nothing important that you may want to discuss with me, then please excuse me. I have an urgent task to attend to."

"How can it be so, Sister Xueruo?" Murong Ye suddenly had a painful expression over his face. "This brother is only worried about you. The amount of time this brother spent thinking about you cannot be counted—"

Not only Cang Yue, but even Yun Che felt like his mind was about to explode.

Just then, Murong Ye's eyes fell on Yun Che who stood fairly close to Cang Yue. This caused a frown to appear over his face as he questioned directly.

"Who are you?"

"The man who slept with her."

Everyone's eyes widened to extremes by what Yun Che just said as all of them collectively looked towards Cang Yue.

Seeing everyone suddenly staring at her, Cang Yue, who was also stunned by what Yun Che said, suddenly had a blush creep up her cheeks. Strangely enough, she didn't dislike the fact that Yun Che basically announced that they were a couple. In fact, she seemed to even like it!

Everyone could only dumbfoundedly stare at the bashful Cang Yue who finally couldn't take it anymore and loudly announced.

"I'll be leaving!" And she vanished in an instant, leaving behind stunned Murong Ye and others.

{You said that on purpose, didn't you?} Jasmine's voice rang within his mind, causing him to smirk.

{Humph! Who asked him to act so weird and creepy with her. Anyways, it's not like I said something wrong. We did sleep together.}

{This princess is amazed at your ability to cause misunderstanding.}

{Heh. Even if you praise me, I'm not giving you any candies.}

{... Grrr! This princess takes it back, go die in some corner or something!}

Meanwhile, Murong Ye felt as if his whole world had been shattered. He felt his mind going blank and then filled with all kinds of murderous thoughts.

He has been courting Cang Yue since the first time he had seen her, back at New Moon Profound Palace. He couldn't believe that nobody came and stole her from him!

He wasn't stupid.

Yun Che's deceleration matched with Cang Yue's behavior alone told him all that he needed to know. Bloodlust erupted from his very being.

"I guess we should leave for the entrance exam then." Seeing Cang Yue's bashful self and nodding how cute she looked, Yun Che turned around but stopped at the loud voice which called to him.

"Stop for me!" Murong Ye shouted, gaining everyone's attention.

Yun Che, Yuanba, Wuyou, and all other people around; everyone looked towards Murong Ye with confused gazes. All of them wondered what happened to him all of sudden.

"Yes?" Yun Che questioned, feigning ignorance.

"You dare to slander Sister Xueruo's name. You bastard!If I didn't seek justice in my name, then my name is not Murong Ye!"

"Oh…"

Seeing Yun Che's impassive expression, the anger within Murong Ye seemed to double.

A sword appeared in his hand, causing everyone to frown.

This was Blue Wind Profound Palace, and any form of deadly attack was forbidden here. Of course, unless you had the background to show the middle finger to the rules.

Murong Ye roared like a beast and jumped at Yun Che. It looked like he had lost all form of rationality. The only thing he could see was Yun Che.

He raised his sword and slashed at Yun Che.

Seeing the incoming sword, Yun Che simply side stepped. The sword which meant to cut him in half starting from his head simply passed by him and hit the ground below, breaking it.

Yun Che was about to use Phoenix Flames when his hand motion suddenly changed before a loud clapping sound resounded at the entrance of the Blue Wind Profound Palace, attracting everyone's attention.

All of them saw a blur which bounced on the ground before hitting a wall at the far end of the palace, destroying the wall in the process.

All of them then turned their gazes towards Yun Che who shook his hand up and down as if dusting away the dirt from it.

"Let's go. I'm already late for the exam." Said Yun Che, ignoring everyone's dumbfounded gaze. They could only silently stare at his leaving back in astonishment. After all, the person Yun Che had just slapped to nether realm was the cousin of Murong Yi!

They thought Yun Che had no fear at all!
