CHAPTER 39: EXPOSURE
On the bed, wrapped up in the sheets, Miranda layed on Verma's bare chest while he rested on one of his hands and used the other to caress her arms.
"I want afternoons like this every night," Miranda said under her breath.
"Antonio's gonna kill me, Miranda. You know that can't happen." He said to her softly.
"I know, But think about it, he's gonna be back God knows when, so till then, while the cat's away, the mice will play." She said with a smile.
"The mice sure will play Mamacita," Verma said as he kissed her while caressing her body. Miranda's phone interrupted their kiss when she received a call from Nunez school,
"... Miss Miranda, please your child is here waiting for you." A female voice said.
Then Miranda covered the speaker and she and Verma both chorused, "Fuck, we forgot about Nunez." Then she said to the lady, "I was a bit busy, but I'll be right there. Thank you." Then she hung up the phone.
