Chapter 9

Yara woke up with a severe headache. She rose up and walked towards the CR. When she came back, she stiffened.

"Why is he here? Why does he looks like he didn't sleep the whole night?" Yara asked to herself.

Kenzo smirked. "You're finally awake." The guy said that made Yara furrowed her forehead.

"Ouch!" Yara said when Emma spanked her behind. "Change your clothes!" Emma commanded her.

Dream went out from her room. "Morning, swee... What happened to your eyes?" Yara asked when she her niece's swollen eyes. Dream didn't answer her and just looked at her with sadness in her eyes.

"Get dress, we have a lot of things to talk about." Kenzo ordered her that made her brows raised.

"Mr. Kenzo Vasquez, we are not in the office so you can't boss me around inside of my own house." Yara said. "And this will be my house too, sooner or later." Kenzo said that made Yara's brow even higher. "What!?" Ouch!" Yara said because Emma spanked her again.

"Mom!" Yara said looking at her mother. "Go inside your room and dress properly!" Emma said seriously. Yara walked towards her room stomping her feet.

"What is his problem? He's the trespasser here and yet I'm the one who's being scolded?" Yara said to herself. When she saw her reflection on the mirror, she blushed. Se was wearing her sleepwear with nothing under it and her bosom is clearly seen because the sleepwear was made of thin fabric. "Stupid Yara! You're really stupid!" She said scolding herself.

Kenzo, eventhough, his mind was full of questions since last night, he can't stop himself from feeling hot when he saw Yara's body first thing in the morning. Lucky for him that he's sitting on the dining table because if not, he can't explain the evidence of his arousal. He almost saw it last night and the effect on him was still the same. "What's happening to me?" He asked himself.

Because he wanted to know everything from Yara when she sober, he stayed at their house. He can't let another day pass without knowing the truth.

Yara went out from her room. She raised her brow seeing Kenzo sitting calmly. "Let's eat first." Emma said. "Are you not attending your classes?" Yara said asking Dream. "Let's eat first." Emma repeated what she said a while ago and Yara kept quiet.

While eating, Kenzo's phone rang. "Where are you? We're already here in the coffee shop." Kairo said. "Yara and I will take a day-off today." Kenzo said that made Kairo smiled. "And why? Where are you going to bring our lovely secretary?" Kenzo asked with a different meaning on tone. "I'm here at their house. We need to talk about something very important." Kenzo said that made Yara looked at him with puzzled face. "Important matter?" Kairo asked curiously. "Yeah, see you tomorrow." Kenzo said and ended the call.

Kairo looked at his phone after talking to Kenzo. "Where is he?" Kylo asked. "He's at Yara's place." Kairo said. "Why?" Buster asked. "I don't know. He said that they will talk about an important matter so they will take a day-off." Kairo said that made Kylo and Buster creased their foreheads.

The four of them have finished their meal. Yara and Emma did the dishes. Yara noticed that Dream is very quiet and she's not used to it.

"Sweety, are you sick?" Yara asked and Dream only shaked her head for NO answer. "Then, what's the problem?" Yara asked that made Dream's eyes started to well up. "Hey..." Yara said and hugged her niece and the child started to sob.

"Sit here." Emma said. Yara is still embracing her niece who was still crying. "Did something happened last night? Why is she crying?" Yara said asking her mother. "You can't remember anything?" Emma asked. "I went out with him to meet a client. Then, the waiter served the wine..." Yara said. "And you almost drank the whole bottle." Kenzo said. "I drank?" Yara asked. "Yeah, and you told me things that I want to hear from you now that you're in your normal state." Kenzo said.

"Mom, is Big Brother Kenzo my dad?" Dream asked suddenly making Yara's face became pale. "Because you're drunk, you told her over the phone that you're with his dad." Emma said that made Yara's eye became wide and everything that had happened last night came back to her memory.

"Is she my daughter?" Kenzo asked with a serious tone. "Of course not!" Yara said, still trying to lie. Kenzo slammed the table. "For Pete's sake, Yara, I want the truth!" Kenzo said and Yara can say he's really angry.

"Mom, please." Dream said and started crying again. Yara felt guilty and sighed deeply. "Big sister, I'm really sorry, it's all my fault." Yara said to herself.

"Sweety, I'm really sorry. I made a promise with your mom but I was the one who broke it." Yara said and looked at Kenzo and Dream.

"Yes, he's your dad. I'm sorry, I didn't tell you before." Yara said and her eyes started to well up. "Thank you, Mommy." Dream said and hugged her aunt. They both cried while embracing each other. Emma was crying too.

Kenzo can't explain what he was feeling right now. He's already a dad and he's happy about it but he's also afraid. "Can I be a good father to her? What if she doesn't want me?" Kenzo asked to himself looking at Dream.

Yara loosened her embrace to her niece and she signaled the child to go to her father. When Kenzo saw that Dream was walking towards him, he felt nervous.

"Dad..." Dream said and embraced Kenzo tightly, letting him feel how she missed having a dad on her side. Kenzo was dumbfounded at first but when Dream hugged him tightly, he felt the connection between them. And for the first time in his entire life, a tear fell from his eyes.

Emma approached Yara, held her hand saying, "It's alright, everything will be fine now."
