When I examined the information about this world, I was amazed.

This planet is known as Ventra and it has a solar system similar to Earth's, with one notable difference: it has two suns. Other than that, not much else is different from Earth.

Ventra derives its name from a giant snake that supposedly carries the planet on its back, symbolizing the limited astronomical knowledge and lack of observation of other planets by its inhabitants.

Around a thousand years ago, Mana awakened on Ventra, and people began exploring its properties and developing technologies related to Mana and magic. Mana is a vital component of magic.

In terms of magic, there are three types of energies: Mana, Spirit energy, and demonic energy. Humans became aware of the presence of demons approximately twenty years ago, and since then, they have been working together to combat the demon threat.

The demons invade the human domain in their quest for power and authority. The mastermind behind this invasion is either a Demon King or a Demon Lord, as per the system's information. It seems that humans are only aware of demon rankings up to the level of Demon King.

Magic in this world is organized into "Circles." Each circle represents a hundred levels of magical proficiency, as explained by the system.

Regarding the Human domain, it consists of a vast landmass housing a total of 11 kingdoms, which can be considered a single continent. Out of these 11 kingdoms, 7 are ruled by humans, 2 by Elves, 1 by dwarves, and 1 by Orcs and Ogres. The coexistence of Orcs and Ogres raises some suspicion, but it's not my primary concern.

Other races were aware of the existence of demons even before humans, and they are currently joining forces with humans to combat the demonic threat. Hence, when I visit human settlements, I can expect to encounter members of other races.

Now, there are two types of individuals I need to be cautious of. First, there are the Adventurers. These individuals prefer to live independently and earn their livelihood through various means, such as exploring dungeons and completing assigned tasks based on their job classes. They are supported by a multi-racial organization known as the "Adventurer's Association."

These individuals can also participate in demon hunting and demon-related expeditions. They are dangerous, but not as much as the latter.

"Demon Hunters."

The moment I heard these two words, a chill ran down my spine. This group consists of professionals whose sole purpose is to slaughter demons. To put it simply, they are trained individuals who pursue demon hunting as a career. In order to become a Demon Hunter, one must possess at least a third circle of proficiency. They receive training at the Royal Academy of each kingdom and are personally selected by the Demon Hunting Association, which specializes in hunting down demons using every possible method. They are considered the best among all demon-hunting organizations. Their tasks include demon subjugations, raiding demon settlements, conducting experiments on demons, and more. This association serves as the backbone of humanity.

After the treaty with the elves and dwarves was established, the Demon Hunter Association experienced significant growth. Elves specialize in magic, dwarves in craftsmanship, orcs in brute strength, and ogres in menace. All these races joined forces with humans to strengthen the Demon Hunter Association and humanity as a whole. These hunters are certainly formidable.

However, the most troublesome aspect lies in the next threat. When the world faces the presence of a Demon King, it manifests a warrior to defend itself. This chosen warrior, known as a Hero, is bestowed with the best powers and resources by the world. The world has already birthed, is currently birthing, or will birth a hero in the future. As my objective is to become a true demon, I must do everything in my power to eliminate any hindrance, for my instincts tell me that this hero will inevitably cross paths with me. Nevertheless, I cannot concern myself with the future for now. First, I must assess what abilities I possess as Logan Wayne.

I focused my attention on the "Status" display, and a blue screen appeared before me.

I skipped over the details of the other abilities and skills, as they were self-explanatory. The crucial point was the ability [Lust].

I wanted to check a few more things, so I looked further down. And my lingering doubt became as clear as water.
