Turn of Events

When two real experts crossed swords, their movements were as quick as lightning. They killed people easily as though they were cutting through vegetables. From the moment the two disciples from the Wise Ruler Sect emerged from the bushes, up until the male disciple made his way to the old Shatu man, the entire process merely took a few seconds.

A rumbling noise rang out.

Just when the disciple from the Wise Ruler Sect neared the old Shatu man, the other warrior beside him in dark red suddenly moved. His palms suddenly turned black with a metallic sheen on them. With an angry snarl, he pushed out his palms. Both his hands collided with the Wise Ruler Sect's disciple's thrusting sword. An explosion rang out, and the longsword was sent flying.
