Chapter 45: So Much Work, So Little Time
Selene and Rue manage to round up four other witches willing to help with the gate. Tom was the first person Selene asked, knowing his family had helped protect the village wall with their own Witch Stone once before. He was happy to help and suggested three other witches whose family crests he saw on the wall.
The group then set out on collecting two stones each. Selene had read that a Witch Stone can be created by finding stones that you’re drawn to. Everyone is going to be pulled toward different kinds of stones, and their magic will be strongest when using their own.
Once located, all of the witches sit down and place their hands on their own stones. The key is to concentrate all their energy on the object, infusing magic into its existence. If done correctly, their family crest will appear on the surface and the enchantment is complete.
