It wasn't going to be easy work, they had to make a video that would truly garner the attention of not only the public, but also the eyes of the officials. Both Aoko and Kil were tasked with thinking up the lyrics and how they were to be sung, mainly because they were the singers of the group.
Kiara was surprisingly quite the experienced dancer, so they would probably end up looking to her to think of the dance routine and such for their performances. Ryu couldn't really do too much in that regard, so he was just told to help Kiara out by testing out different dance moves.
Speaking of dance routines, Kil was currently helping out Chisato with teaching both Kanon and Keke how to properly dance. Such as helping in giving them hints on certain parts that appeared rough, or suggesting ideas for different moves.
When he had met back up with Kanon, he wasn't too surprised when she ended up breaking down into tears when she saw him. He did kind of ditch her and Chisato due to his studies, so he did feel quite a bit of guilt when he saw her tears.
At the current time, Kil had been asked by Chisato to help her out with giving a small demonstration of the dance that they decided on. This was to show both Kanon and Keke what the dance will look like from the spectator's point of view.
The dance, as of right now, wasn't too long as they still had quite a bit of work to do. The routine still needed more movement if they were to be dancing through the entire song that Kanon and Keke had made together, but baby steps.
"Yes, that looks good so far!" Keke nodded with a star-filled gaze as both Kil and Chisato stopped dancing. Chisato was only a bit winded from the display they just did, though Kil didn't look at all fatigued. "Kanon, let's give it another try!"
"Let me rest for a bit..." Kanon gave a dry look towards her friend as she was still panting slightly from exhaustion. They had indeed been practicing for around two hours non-stop now, so her exhaustion was quite justified. "Will we even be able to do this...?"
"If you put the work in and try your best, it'll be fine!" Chisato assured them as she gave her childhood friend a smile while handing all of them a water bottle. Kil nodded his head in thanks as he took a small sip, though he soon took notice of something off in the distance.
"How about some ice cream to cool ourselves off?" Kil suggested as he pointed towards the ice-cream stand that was set up across the park. The girls turned to look where he was pointing. "I'll go and get us some, do you guys want anything?"
"Chocolate!"
"Strawberry!"
"Umm... is there apple?"
"Apple? I'll go and check."
"If there isn't, just get me vanilla..."
"Got it." With that, Kil walked on calmly towards the ice cream stand, the girls watching in go for a bit before turning their attention to one another and began discussing the dance routine. "At least there aren't too many people here in the morning, the park's pretty empty..."
As Kil looked around, he had noticed that the park was indeed quite empty. Since it was pretty early in the morning, people probably don't come here at this time of day. They would most likely crowd here during the afternoon, which was usually much warmer compared to the morning.
Kil approached the ice cream stand, which he noticed that the person running it had just finished serving another customer. He was honestly kind of surprised that they were even selling ice cream so early in the day, though props to them.
"Greeti-."
"Hel-."
Kil blinked as another voice seemed to address the ice cream stand runner at the exact same time as he did, and when he looked to see who it was, he was greeted by the sight of a girl who was probably the same age as himself.
The girl in question had long pinkish-red hair, the girl was also wearing a long white dress and a pair of pink shoes. She had fair skin along with a pair of large reddish-brown eyes, and finishing off with what looked to be a long-sleeved pink shirt underneath the dress.
"Oh, you can go first." Kil decided to be generous as he gestured for the girl to go ahead of him, taking a step back to let her stand in front of the man. The girl blinked before giving a thankful nod, to which she then looked towards the ice cream man and began placing her order. "Sorry about that, I didn't see you."
"Don't worry, I wasn't paying too much attention either..." The girl assured as she turned to face him after placing her order. She gave Kil a friendly smile as she then gave a small bow, to show respect. "You were kind of already in front of the stand, so it was more my fault than anything. Thanks for letting me go first."
"No worries. My name is Kil, Shinmara Kil."
"Eh? Shinmara? Is your father perhaps Shinmara Kyoga?" The girl asked with a surprised look on her face. Kil blinked at this as he then gave a small nod, that was indeed the name of his father. "Oh, my apologies. My name is Rin, Mizumi Rin! My father knows Mr Shinmara due to him being in the same line of work."
"I see, nice to meet you, Rin. That means your father is a scientist or an engineer, right?" The girl known as Rin responded with a nod of her head, a smile present on her face as she did so. "My dad did say at some point that someone was trying to learn from him directly, was that perhaps your father?"
"Yes, my dad is pretty determined about it." Rin scratched her cheek with an embarrassed look on her face as she glanced away from Kil. "He had always looked up to Mr Shinmara, especially after he developed the whole concept of virtual reality and its use."
Kil just nodded his head at this, a look of understanding on his face. His father was already a famous scientist and engineer, and that popularity only increased by many times after he ended up proposing the idea of virtual reality and also developing the first virtual reality equipment.
Most people that knew of him, mainly from school never really associated or linked him to Shinmara Kyoga. They all just thought that his last name was a coincidence, not like he really cared. He didn't want an insane amount of attention, especially if it's due to someone else's reputation.
"Here you go, miss."
"Oh, thank you!" Rin nodded her head in thanks as she turned back around before taking hold of the ice cream cone that was being handed to her, paying soon after as she took a step back to let Kil place his own order to the ice cream man.
"Can I get chocolate, strawberry, mint choc-chip ice cream... also, if you have anything that is apple flavoured, that would be nice. If not, vanilla will do just fine."
"Apple? Indeed we do, it won't be long." Kil nodded his head in appreciation as he then turned back to see Rin still standing there with him. She seemed to be giving him a bit of a weird look, making him raise an eyebrow in confusion at her action.
"That's... a lot of ice cream."
"Eh? Oh, you're misunderstanding. It's not all for me, I have a few friends who I am buying for." Kil clarified as the girl nodded he head in response. Rin gave a small 'Oh~' in understanding, no wonder he was buying that much ice cream.
"No wonder you buying that much, I thought you were going to eat it all on your own for a second..." Rin gave a small nervous giggle as Kil sweatdropped. He would suffer dearly if he ate that much ice cream, especially in the morning. Rin then looked at the small wristwatch she had on. "Oh! I better get going, my dad will be worried if I'm gone for too long!"
"No worries, nice meeting you."
"Same here, Kil. Have a nice day!"
With that, Kil watched as Rin ran off with ice cream in hand, it was a miracle that the ice cream had dropped to the ground in response to how fast she was running. The girl was pretty interesting, and he wondered if he would ever see her again. Maybe, maybe not. Who knows?

After saying his farewells to Keke, Kanon and Chisato, Kil was now walking through the city while looking down at his phone. He was currently reading over an email that he received, and like always, his hood was covering his face as he was walking.
The email that he received was about the new job he had been given, you heard that right, a job. Apparently, the school required that all of its students worked some kind of part-time job during their school years as to allow them to have some kind of work experience.
The school did give it's students to naturally choose the job themselves, but for those that weren't quite sure what they wanted to do, they determined the best kind of occuptation for the students based on the student's personal abilities.
That was what Kil did, he wasn't sure what kind of workplace he'd want to choose, so he let the school decide for him. Considering the reputation of the school, he was quite confident that he could leave his trust in its staff. When he received the info on what job it was though, he was kinda confused.
Apparently, they had asked him to start working part-time at some kind of game developing company. He was confused by the decision as he never really developed any games before, he literally had no experience in the field. Though, when they told him what kind of work there he was going to be doing, he understood why.
From what they told him, the company was actually quite new and didn't have all the necessary staff and had been relying a bit on outside business to produce certain things. The one main thing they had to buy from outside sources was music for their games, and that was where Kil was going to come in. He was going to be working as their music producer.
While he had programmed some things in the past, though those were mainly just basic programs and websites as well every now and then. Programming games was something else entirely, it was foreign for him. He was at least pretty confident in his artistic talent if he was asked to help out in that field at some point, the school did give him a one hundred for that after all.
Anyway, back to the email. He had received the email to confirm that he was accepted and was going to be starting his work today. From what the email said, formal business clothing wasn't required and they could just be casual. He was very much thankful about this, he didn't really like to wear suits and all that.
Aside from that, he was actually making his way there now using the map that he was given in the email. It wasn't the most detailed of maps, but it was still understandable at least. He had already called Ren to inform him that he'd be back late due to this, which his little brother gave him a simple 'okay'.
He had already prepared some food for them in the fridge, so his brothers won't be hungry. Rei might be capable of cooking, but he wasn't the best either. He had also informed his parents of the situation as well, just in case they came home only to see both his brothers alone. Kil would probably end up getting a big earful if that happened.
"Is this the place?" Kil stopped walking as he looked up from his phone. When he did, he saw that it was a reliatively big building with a modern look to it, it didn't stand out too much amongst the other buildings around the area. Though, there was a large sign with two words printed on it. "Yep, this is the place. Eagle Jump, huh? Interesting name..."
"I'm Suzukaza Aoba, nice to meet you... I'm Suzukaza Aoba, nice to meet you..."
'Eh?' Kil blinked his eyes when he heard a rather familiar voice. Looking back down from the sign and towards the entrance of the building, he took notice of a girl looking down at the ground while continuing to mutter to herself. 'Is she chanting something...? Wait, isn't she from then...?'
Taking a second to look at the girl, he soon realised that this girl was the very same person that had accidentally bumped into him. The girl that was looking at the suit in the window display. Speaking of the suit, she was actually wearing it right now, though the design of it seemed to be a bit different from what he saw of it before.
'The collar's different, probably because of that ribbon... How'd she make it look like a school uniform?' Kil couldn't help but sweatdrop as he noticed that the suit didn't even look like one anymore, it was more a school uniform than anything. 'Why is she here though?'
He knew that people who are still in school usually can't work in places such as a game developing company at such a young age, the only reason he was able to was due to his school. That's why he is so confused right now as to why this girl was here at the company.
Though, aside from that...
'Is she having a life crisis...?'
True to Kil's words, the girl suddenly started flailing around with a majorly panicked look on her face. Her twin tails swinging all over the place in response to her actions, and watching this, Kil couldn't help but sweatdrop even further at what the girl was doing. What's wrong with her?
"Are you okay?"
"E-Eh?! I'm S-Suzukaza Aoba, nice to meet you!" Kil flinched a bit when the girl suddenly twirled around and greeted him with a very stiff stance. He was almost hit by one of her twintails due to how fast she turned. "Wait... you're the same boy from that one time!"
"Yeah... nice to meet you, I'm Shinmara Kil." Kil chuckled a bit as he pulled down his hood before extending his hand forwards for a shake. The girl stuttered a bit before giving a small bow before accepting the gesture as she awkwardly shook his hand. "So, why are you standing here, Aoba? You look nervous... too nervous."
"W-Well, I'm actually a new employee here at the company!" Aoba explained as Kil nodded his head. From the small stars in her eyes, Kil could tell that she was pretty excited to be working at this place. "Are you an employee here as well, Kil?"
"Yeah, I'm a new employee like you."
"Oh, I see! I've only just gotten out of high school, but I'm excited to get started!"
"Wait, just got out of high school...?" Kil blinked a few times as he heard those words. Aoba seemed to blink at him as she tilted her head in confusion as she stared up at him. "Aoba, I don't want to be rude, but how old are you exactly?"
"Hm? I turned eighteen not too long ago."
"What...?" Kil dropped his jaw slightly as he looked at the girl. This whole time he thought that Aoba was around his age, either fourteen or fifteen due to her height and all that. She was three years older than him?! "I guess you're older than me then..."
"Eh? Eh?! Aren't you a new graduate as well...?"
"No, Aoba. I just started high school not long ago, I'm fifteen..."
"Eh...? Eh?!" Aoba screamed with her eyes widening into white plates as she looked up at the male. The male that was quite a bit taller than her and had a rather well-developed body from what she could see due to his clothes was still in his first year of high school?! "N-No way...!"
"Hey!" A rather stirn voice suddenly shouted, causing Kil to flinch slightly while Aoba full on jumped a meter into the the air with a small scream. They both turned to look back, to which they saw a woman, maybe in her twenties? "Hehehe~. I'm just kidding, sorry for scaring you. This isn't a place for children, this is a company, after all."
"Oh, apologiese, miss. Though, I will be working here from this day forwards. My name is Shinmara Kil, a pleasure to meet you."
"O-Oh, and I'm Suzukaze Aoba! Nice to meet you!"
"I-I see, you two are the new employees?" The woman said in a rather surprised tone as she walked on over towards the two of them. "I'm so sorry about before. If I'm not mistaken, you are actually on the same team as me, Aoba. I'm Toyama Rin, an AD."
"A pleasure to meet you, Miss Toyama."
"Wow, a true professional..."
Kil chuckled seeing Aoba marvelling at Toyama.
"Also, regarding you, Kil." Toyama voice as Kil looked back at her, Aoba also snapping out of her awe as she listened as well. "I was informed to take you to Hazuki if I ended up running into you before work started, she'll be the one to fill you in with all the details."
"Hazuki?"
"That's right, she's the director for everything!"
"I see, then I'll be in your care from now on." Kil smiled as he gave Toyama a small bow. Toyama gave her own smile and nodded before gesturing for them to follow her as she began to walk towards the entrance of the building. Kil nodded at Aoba, who nodded back as they followed after her.
