Burak's breakdown is inevitable. The grief and guilt are too much for him to bear. He can no longer rationalize his actions, and the emotional toll of everything he has lost—his father, Maryam, and his own sense of self—crushes him completely. He spirals into deep depression, tormented by nightmares and visions of Maryam. His mind becomes a prison, and he can't escape the constant replay of the moment he killed her. In his desperation, Burak begins contemplating suicide, seeing it as the only way to atone for his sins.
