217 The Unknown Part Three

The sudden breeze feels wrong and out of place as the trees sway to and fro. It sounds so loud... But why was there suddenly a breeze? Suddenly the night becomes darker... I quickly look up to see large dark clouds moving across the sky.

I sigh and say "Just what we need..." I look back down and nearly come out of my skin. Something with large black glistening eyes stares at me from the tree in front of me. I freeze and hold my breath as we continue to stare at each other.

It was so dark, I was having a hard time making out anything other than its eyes but when it moves, it crawls on all fours up the side of the large tree. I begin to sidestep back to the others when I suddenly bump into something.

I suck in and jump back but when I see the hanging, decomposing body, I fall back on my ass and crawl away. What the hell!? My heart beats wildly against my chest and it nearly stops when I realize there are more.
