307 Relaxing

I spent the next several days in and out of sleep. I think the most relieving thing was knowing that Remi was dead and the Zombies were nearly wiped out. Alec stayed with me as we both used this time to recuperate.

I feel Alec's long fingers drift up my leg, making my eyes flutter open. The morning sun comes through the large windows bathing everything in golden warmth. Little particles dance in the air as the light shines down on us.

I look over to find Alec watching me with dark eyes. I close my eyes and smile at him as I snuggle closer. I finally feel like I can relax a little. Alec holds me close as he starts combing my tangled hair with his long fingers. "I still don't know how I feel about this but he did save your life..." He says reaching down to touch my thigh again. I smile against his bare chest and sigh.
