Getting A Glimpse

"Weird? Why do you say weird?" I ask with confusion. Chip shrugs and says "It's like nothing's in there but I can still hear a heartbeat... I don't really know!" I walk over to the incubator holding the large egg and place my hand against the warm glass.

The egg looked fine... I really wonder what's in it... I also wonder where the Crawler has run off to. Why is he always disappearing? I sigh and turn to find Chip and Alec watching me. "Are you ready to take the City back?" I ask with a smirk.

Alec gives me a dark grin and says "I never truly handed it over." I giggle as we make our way out. Chip walks beside me with happiness but my happiness had something weighing it down... Leo. He really did make a place in my heart.
