Blood was coming out like a fountain from Arlott's headless body. His blood stained the floor. Kyel did not expect that Arlott would be so clever. Even after his death, he would cause him a lot of trouble, especially after leaving details about what happened in his room.
The problem is that Kyel does not know Arlott's real room, so as soon as he goes missing or the time to search his room arrives, they will find the letter.
The good thing is that he is not known as Kyel Everhart, because the owner of the body was named Jules Vance.
The only thing that will pose a danger and threat to him is Professor Megan herself. Even though all the information he gave her about him is wrong and she will not find him, she saw his face and remembers him.
But what could he do? If they decided to search among all 10,000 students, he would be found, especially if a detailed description of his appearance was provided by the teacher.
But before that time comes, Kyel has plenty of time to find a way; even if he were discovered, he had a way to escape.
For now, he should leave this place, especially after a fourth-class magic circle was activated. Perhaps someone felt the fluctuations of mana in the air when he activated the two magic circles.
Kyel took one last look at Arlott's body. He was going to throw the body off the cliff to get rid of the corpse. But when he touched Arlott's dead body, a voice sounded in his mind.
Ding!
[Retrieval System]
[Do you want to use retrieval on the body?]
The floating screen said, and Kyel, of course, clicked on the 'Yes' button.
[Retrieving in progress.]
[Success! All retrieved items are stored in the system's storage. You can check it later. For now, I advise the Host to retreat.]
Kyel did as the System instructed. He pushed Arlott's lifeless body off the cliff, using his climbing gear and the Shadow manipulation skill to take the same path he came from.
This time the wind helped him, blowing in the same direction he was going. Unnoticed, Kyel got to his room. It hadn't been a long night for him. Since he discovered that he lost track of time, he couldn't feel the flow of it, so terms like "short time" or "long duration" didn't exist in his dictionary.
As he reached his room, he took off the climbing gear and changed into some casual clothes.
He opened the system menu.

There was an icon [storage]. He clicked on it.
Then he found some items stored there: a ring, a suit, some books, and Uganus powder (he completed the mission, and the prize was directed to storage).
The concealment suit was there, retrieved by the system, along with the books Arlott brought to Kyel. But the ring was something Kyel didn't know why the system had retrieved.
He clicked on the ring, and a short description appeared: [storage ring: 20m³ of storage]. As if the system understood Kyel, a ring appeared on his right hand.
He pushed some mana into it, and as if it were a space, there was money, books, diaries, women's panties and lingerie, magic books, knives, and potions for different uses.
Kyel thought, "Such a fraud you are, Arlott. You thought of tricking me, keeping the goods for yourself?"
As he went through the books, diaries, and other items, he realized Arlott intended to keep Professor Megan's real belongings and give the fake ones to Kyel.
Kyel faked a smile when he saw that Arlott had even stolen her lingerie and panties—a perverted nerd. Now he was dinner for the monsters deep down the cliff.
Kyel didn't care much about the books, diaries, or notes; he grabbed the Uganus powder.
[Uganus powder "modified": it will put the host in an unconscious state for 8 hours straight, with no side effects.]
Kyel put some of the powder on the back of his finger, then ran the finger across his nose and sniffed the powder.
After about four minutes, he fell unconscious on the bed, in a slumber he hadn't had in a long time.
---
In another room, a comfortable and tidy apartment, Professor Megan was standing and looking through the window.
Her belongings had been stolen—things that were secret: her daily diary, valuable books, money, and even her favorite underwear and lingerie.
The last item only reduced the circle of suspicion to men, but the thought that a woman could have done it gave her goosebumps. Still, she was angry. Who would do it? She had some doubts about one of the professors, but doubts alone are not enough; there must be evidence.
She drank some wine to relieve herself a little; just thinking that her diary was in someone else's hands made her feel uncomfortable.
The principal told her that the operation was taking place quietly and that the students would be searched for her belongings. But searching an entire magic tower? Even using a magic scope would be difficult, let alone inspecting each person individually.
She was a powerful individual, hailing from an ancient family. Magic potions were not even her specialty, but she taught them because she knew things about magic potions no one else knew.
She had been gifted from a young age, with a strong personality, like a wild cat. She came to the magic tower as punishment from her father and grandfather. She had to spend fifteen years here.
Perhaps staying here and teaching the younger generation might change her tough personality and make it softer, but even so, she had bathed in the blood of her enemies more than others had bathed in water.
She was a sharp person, holding onto some hatred and prone to anger. She was smart and cunning like a fox. Now she was losing her patience with every passing minute.
But in the depths of her mind, there was some calm, and some names fluttered there like doubts. The first was the name of a recent person she had heard of: KYEL EVERHART.
With striking allure and features, framed by cascading dark hair, her plump lips parted slightly, revealing a glimpse of her sharp, glistening fangs.
Her eyes glowed with a deep, blood-red hue. She was captivating—a gorgeous vampire lady, a dangerous hell of a woman.
"I swear, if it's you, boy, I will make you wish for death itself," she declared, her voice laced with a chilling promise, leaving no doubt of her deadly resolve.
Megan was slowly losing her composure, and for some reason, the first one to appear in her mind was Kyel. She would unleash her rage on him.
