"She's so beautiful isn't she Jenn?" he said whilst looking at his fiancè who was beside him. "Yes, Aaron, and I can tell she really loves you" His step mother said returning a smile "I want you to meet my brother" Aaron said. "Oh, let me call him" Jennifer said stepping aside.

"Damon, Damon! come down and meet your brothers fiancé!" Jennifer called out from downstairs. It was always better to just call him than get him from his room.

Seconds later a figure dressed in a black t- shirt, along with black jeans was dragging himself down the stairs. His head was down, as he clearly didn't want to be here. Silence filled the room as he took his one last step.

"Damon, please your hood" Jennifer said, as the figure lazily removed his hood revealing his raven hair, that matched Melinoe's. His crystal blue eyes were now piercing into her brown greenish eyes. A welcoming smile was plastered on her face as she held out her hand out to shake.

"I'm Melinoe," she introduced. "Damon." He carelessly introduced "Damon, don't be rude. How about we have something to eat?" She suggested with a smile. "I'm not hungry," Damon mumbled but could clearly be heard.

"Damon, please. Just this once? We have a guest" she insistingly pleaded. Damon plopped himself down on the chair beside him, mentally sighing.

He watched her as Aaron pulled out the seat for her. The smile never left her face in the process.

She was so happy.

So he thought. Of course, all princesses are happy.

His eyes never left her. She could feel them burning right into her skin.

Her eyes then unintentionally looked into his direction. She had finally locked eyes with him.

His eyes, emotionless.

Her mind, full of curiosity.
