Seigul 2

With his mind fixated on the prospect, using his flashlight He searched round the area surrounding the walls for a plant, a leaf, anything which had veins and looked green to him would do.

In an instant, he found what he was looking for and bent down to pick it up, weirdly enough, only a single plant which bore but a single flower was present, seeing this he beat himself up for not noticing it earlier.

He plucked it off from its stem and in doing so, its base withered away, leaving nothing but a fragile petal behind. He strode towards the keyhole with new found determination in his deduction and without a second thought, he crumbled the petal saying

"and last but not least, death"

Pieces of the petal, sieved into the keyhole, prompting a mechanical noise which woke up his senses; gears turning, levers bending and screws twisting to their hearts content.

In a few seconds the orchestra died down and with it a click from the wall as it pushed itself in, separating into two large halves which acted as doors, or gates to be more specific due to the sheer grandeur of things.

Dust rose up to eye level and a stench slowly filled his senses resulting in coughing and a tendency to hold his nose shut.

The inside of the wall was pitch black, with but a single gold glow emanating from within it. With cautious strides, he went into the depths of the room only to be greeted by fires which lit themselves around the structures corners causing the miracle of sight.

He noted his surroundings, in pure awe of the artistic value, the ground was made of a shiny metal, no, not gold - something even more enchanting it was emerald green in colour and looked to be as hard as it was shiny, pillars of the same material wove their patterns on gold slabs as they reached the very ceiling of the masterpiece, but weirdly enough there was no furniture or even any notion of the room being habitable, all that was left besides the metallic sheen, was a pedestal upon which the glow came from.

He couldn't believe his eyes as he took out his tape recorder to... Well record his sights in a pure child- like tone, laughing and dictating in surprise to the machine.

A crack sounded to which he turned towards the pedestal, it seemed that sparks flew out from whether was atop it, wanting to observe this, he soon found himself before the pedestal as he looked on.

What lay on the pedestal was not a firecracker or a match stick, rather it was a rather fascinating discovery, gloves.... Yes gloves, which had hard edged fingers coated in the same metal as the floor, its measurements were easily the entirety of his hands, up to his elbow that is. The other object there was a gold coloured book with a hexagram sigil and an omega sign plastered at its centre, all of which we're in emerald colours.

A text was written on the pedestal with the same symbols as were the door, he scribbled the much he could to decipher its meaning and after a while, he had it

Crystal implode

Vague at best, but then he tried pronouncing it in its original tongue

Cry-sta-est-ex-can-tur-im-plo-dium

Everything froze,,, literally, even the flames from the torches stood still, the room suddenly began to boil with his skin feeling as though he was being cooked alive. He looked towards the gloves and the book, only to find them larva red, with a gold essence flowing through.

It continued this way for a while until strange symbols, made from the gold essence began filling the room, they danced all around him countless in number and without warning, they immediately began flowing into him.

His mind went dark and his body began floating up in the air with a bright gold shine forcing its way through his mouth and eyes as the runes began being engraved on his body in a widespread circular sigil, the gloves disintegrated from the pedestal and soon started materialising in his hands same for the book as it took centre stage around his chest, conducting the symphony of runes.

Within him, he felt his consciousness slowly entering a white void and for the life of him, he fought it with everything he had, bit it yielded nothing as eventually he was thrown in by glowing white figures of light.

His body shone even more after his mind was sent through the void upon which his body bursted with even more heat and intensity enough to bring down the entire room.

Eventually his being blinked out of space causing a cave-in to the room.

His heard hurt like hell as he struggle to regain consciousness, his mind was in a wreck as he began seeing the white figures which subdued him, prompting him to fight back.

After a while the figures began dissipating. Thinking it was over he fought once more to open his eyes

Finally getting them to open, what he saw shocked the very life out of him.
