44 Volume 5 Chapter 5

"Come to the table ! The dinner is ready !"

We ate our dinner in silence. But Naruto broke it after a while.

"So I am the Hokage in future ?"

"Yeah !" Boruto spoke offhandedly.

"I see..." The silence ensued again.

After dinner we headed to our respective room while Jiraya left.

"There are two spare rooms up there. You can sleep there. If you want anything, you can get it from kitchen. Or call me." I handed over the bedsheets to Boruto and Sasuke. Then headed to our room. I have much to think after this is over.

Naruto was already waiting.

As soon as I seated beside him, he spoke.

"Boruto... He is not our child."

I sighed." Look... Naruto, somethings aren't just under our control. Death is one of them. So please don't think about it. He is your son. And that's all matters. Our actions will have equal and opposite reactions . And we have changed many things. I am happy now. And I don't care if we won't be together in future. Because we are together now. So just forget about it and focus on me now. I want you to give me your all now."

That lifted his mood. Seeing his smile, I activated the privacy seal in our room.

That night, for the first time I enjoyed consensual sex.

"So, Urashiki can steal chakra ?" Jiraya asked.

"Yes, he has an odd looking fishing rod. He uses it to steal chakra from others and then re-use it." Sasuke replied

"I think an interlocking seal will do the job." Tenten gave her suggestion.

"We can use four trigram style to be on the safer side." Jiraya spoke again.

Tenten and Jiraya worked on countering Urashiki Otsusuki's chakra stealing abilities.

It was a success. It took them an entire day to design something that could stop Urashiki from stealing their chakra and at the samee time allow them to use chakra.

In the mean time Sasuke, Naruto and Boruto were training. Or more like sparring with each other. Sasuke was still low on chakra. So he just used taijutsu, to fight with Naruto. Despite his strength, Sasuke has superior strength and techniques. So he was enjoying wiping the floor with Naruto. This time he has both of his arms intact. So fighting him was very hard for Naruto.

While Naruto has great stamina, he was just recieving end of Sasuke's strikes. So he was getting tired very fast.

But due to his healing, he was not getting the one sided bit down.

The first day passed away very quickly.

"Before dinner, it will be better if we apply our seal on you." Tenten said ready with brush and ink.

"Sorry, but I am hungry and tired. Can we eat first ?" Naruto said exhausted.

"Wow, what happened ? You really seems tired. " Tenten asked smirking.

"Can we eat please !" Naruto begged.

"Ok okay. Wash up I have ordered special ramen from ichiraku ramen." Tenten said to them.

After dinner Naruto went to sleep. Jiraya and Sasuke discussed about their plans and Tenten approached Boruto, who was practicing in garden.

"So, hows the training going ?" Tenten asked Boruto.

"I still don't have enough chakra to make the rasengan." Boruto sighed.

"Have you tried compressing it ?" Tenten asked.

"What ?" Boruto was surprised.

"If you don't have chakra to make a standard rasengan, then compress it more. Chakra reserve is a problem. But if you try to compress the same amount of chakra you are using then,-" Tenten paused and lifted one of her palms, a glowing orb of chakra appeared . It was bigger than Boruto's rasengan but wasn't dense shed of blue like Naruto's. "-While mine is bigger, the density and rotation of chakra is nowhere near the level of Naruto. Now watch-"

She put her other arm on the rasengan and tried to compress it. But after a little while it came to a size of a glass ball and then violently exploaded, injuring her arms. Boruto screamed in worry and surprise. Tenten quickly activated the Re: seal and healed her arms.

"What was that ?"Boruto was really surprised.

"It's called Re:seal. It can transfer my body back to it's previous status. Don't worry abou8t it. While I used too much chakra, I think your amount and control is perfect for this. Just work on the stabilizing part and you will have your own variation of rasengan."

"I.. I get it. I didn't know you can do that with seals !" Boruto was surprised.

"Yeah sealings is very versatile and powerful. But the only problem is it's time consuming. You should try it too." Tenten advised.

"I... I will try it."

"Good let's go to sleep. We will be getting into a big fight the day after tomorrow."

"Yes."

"So.... This is my chakra chain. I can't create more than two." Boruto panted while he maintained the chakra chains.

"Good. But You should try to produce smaller once. The more you concentrate chakra, the stronger your chains will get. " Naruto explained.

"Don't focus on the size, focus on power." Naruto said again.

"I am trying." Boruto focused hard.

The first two chains disappeared. But a single golden chain appeared on his back. At the same time, his right eye changed. Naruto noticed that. But he didn't told anything. It was jougan.

"Alright that's great ! You did it. All you have to do now is just practice. And in no time you will reach a level, where you can do this. Watch closely-"

A single chakra chain appeared from Naruto's back while a rasengan srarted to form on it's tip.

"Wow !" Boruto was amazed.

"This is the first time ever I have seen your this move dad !"

"Now practice. I will train on my sealings.

Don't exhaust yourself !" Naruto said before leaving.

"I won't." Boruto replied.

After Naruto went away, Sasuke came out from the shadows.

"So, how was it going ?" He asked Boruto.

"I never knew he could teach this well. In future, he just never get the time !" Boruto replied with a fond smiled.
